Defiant Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo is leaving no doubt that she will continue to report on stories that the corporate media frowns upon despite unrelenting pushback from her detractors.
Praising her production team along with her panelists, the “Sunday Morning Futures” host declared that “We have been telling every story; we’ve been on the right side of it for seven years going. I’ve been trashed every day along the way. Keep trashing me; I’ll keep telling the truth.”
Bartiromo’s vow came near the end of a broader discussion on her Fox News show with U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) and pulmonary specialist Dr. Pierre Kory that primarily concerned itself with censorship by Big Tech and the mainstream media, purportedly in hand-in-hand with government officials, in allegedly suppressing information about COVID treatments such as the drug Ivermectin.
Parenthetically, Sen. Johnson was recently hit with a one-week suspension by YouTube for uploading a video in which he discussed such early treatment options. YouTube previously removed two videos of a Senate hearing that Johnson conducted about inexpensive alternative therapies, during which Dr. Kory testified.
The unwavering pro-Trump Bartiromo then launched into a broader litany of other transgressions by the media.
“Let’s take a look at the biggest lies of all since the Democrats came up with this ridiculous big lie about election integrity. These are actually the biggest lies: the Russia hoax based on a made-up dossier to try to take down Trump, an impeachment of Trump with absolutely no crimes attached to it, the Hunter Biden laptop and all of his business deals and the money that he received from everybody from the former Moscow mayor’s wife to the Chinese companies tied to the Chinese Communist Party, the origins of COVID-19 — a lab leak — and the treatment and then, of course, there’s the armed insurrection,” Bartiromo asserted.

She then slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for repeatedly describing the January 6 Capitol riot as an armed insurrection. Citing an FBI witness, Johnson claimed that no gun was recovered at the Capitol or on the Capitol grounds.
Johnson punctuated the discussion by noting that “everybody’s concerned about Russian interference in the 2016 and 2020 election. What the big media does is so much more influential and interfering in our election, in our electoral process, than anything that Russia or China could ever hope to accomplish, and they don’t admit it. They’ll never admit it.”

Late last month, platforms like Facebook stopped blocking content that raised the Wuhan lab leak theory. Several journalists have finally admitted that the anti-Trump narrative prompted them to discredit the possibility that the virus was man-made as a mere conspiracy theory.
Earlier in the discussion about censorship of alternative treatments during the coronavirus outbreak, Johnson claimed that “the truth has been hiding in plain sight since the beginning of the pandemic” and suggested that anti-Trump politics impacted the way COVID-related information was or wasn’t disseminated by the media establishment.
Independent journalist and former CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson has compiled a list of media mistakes in the Trump era, almost always to the ex-president’s detriment. The tally now stands at 156.
