Ariz. AG tells Biden come home, face border crisis: ‘Pls care about America half as much as Europe’

Arizona’s attorney general says that President Joe Biden should ditch the clubby, self-congratulatory  G-7 globalist reunion and return home to deal with the enormous law enforcement, humanitarian, and public health crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Thus far, the Biden administration has essentially told states like Arizona and Texas to pound sand…The Biden administration has done absolutely nothing. They’ve gone to Central America. They’re going to Europe. But my goodness; please care about America at least half as much as you care about Europe, and then we’ll be able to solve this crisis,” Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich declared on “The Faulkner Focus” on the Fox News Channel.

The situation at the border rapidly deteriorated upon Biden taking office and quickly reversing former President Trump’s effective security measures there.

Brnovich, who is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Democrat Mark Kelly, was also alluding to Kamala Harris’ recent visit to Guatemala as part of her job as the point person to handle the immigration crisis for the Biden administration.

At the beginning of the segment, substitute host Gillian Turner, sitting in for Harris Faulkner, highlighted that after three months in that role, Harris has yet to visit the border region for a first-hand look. Biden has not visited the area either.

Turner also noted that the administration is sending a conflicting message. Harris has told illegal immigrants not to come to the U.S. while the catch-and-release, open-borders Biden administration is processing and admitting thousands of undocumented individuals into the country.

Brnovich responded by outlining the Biden government’s misplaced priorities, which includes trying to address the so-called root causes of immigration by sending more taxpayer-funded foreign aid into the Northern Triangle

“What’s the old Groucho Marx line? Who do you want to believe — President Biden or your lying eyes? Because not only did the stats not lie, the information that we’re seeing and the pictures we’re seeing don’t lie. The statistics and what we’ve seen about the seizures and the number of people coming over. Those are facts. People are entitled to their own opinion, not their own facts,” Brnovich claimed.

“And I have a big message for the Biden administration. Do you want to know the root causes of immigration? This is the greatest country in the world. People want to come here because we’re a great country.

“Instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars in Central America, spend that money on securing our border. Spend that money getting resources to Border Patrol and ICE so they can continue to process felons and the 1.2 million people with deportation orders right now that the Biden administration is refusing to deport. We actually have a case pending a decision from a federal judge right now, asking the Biden administration to follow the law. Complete the wall and deport people that have been ordered to be deported,” he said.

Brnovich began the segment by explaining that drug-smuggling organized crime syndicates are exploiting Biden’s weak and destabilizing policies, leaving the law-abiding taxpayer to pick up the tab.

“There is a crisis at our border…It has been 80 days – 79 days since Vice President Harris has been appointed [border] czar, we have seen almost 500,000 people illegally cross our southern border. That’s like the entire population of Minneapolis or Kansas City coming across. You talk about the impact that has on the environment, but the impact it has on hardworking American taxpayers. The Biden administration is spending…tens of millions of dollars to house people in the country illegally. They’re trying to give them benefits now. That affects taxpayers,” he continued.

“And I know as a prosecutor, a law enforcement official, that the cartels are exploiting not only the people, they’re exploiting this crisis to dramatically increase the amount of fentanyl and heroin coming into our country. That’s going to affect not only us here in Arizona; that’s gonna affect everyone in the entire country,” he said. “This is a crisis. It’s about to become a huge tragedy.”

Prior to the Brnovich interview, Turner played a clip from U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D- Tex.), whose district extends to the Rio Grande Valley, who insisted that a Harris or Biden visit to the border should be a substantive fact-finding mission rather than just a photo op or a “staged event.”

Parenthetically, former President Trump has chided Brnovich for “lackluster” efforts on voter integrity.
