The entire mainstream left, from “journalists” to official Democrat Party operatives, exploded in glee Thursday when first lady Jill Biden was spotted in England wearing a jacket with the words “love” emblazoned on the back of it.

The left rushed to contrast Biden’s message — which comes from an administration that openly and hatefully discriminates against Asians and whites — with former first lady Melania Trump’s more honest “I really don’t care. Do u?” jacket.

Though Trump wore her jacket while en route to visit illegal alien children at a shelter along the border, she made it clear in an interview later that the message had been directed at the media and their incessant lies about her.

As for Biden, she wore her jacket while at the G7 summit. Questioned by reporters about the jacket, she claimed she was just trying to bring “love from America.”

“Well I think we’re bringing love from America. I think this is a global conference, and we’re trying to bring unity across the globe. And I think that’s important right now, that people feel a sense of unity for all the countries and feel a sense of hope after this year of the pandemic,” she said.

Watch:

Left-wingers, including “journalists,” seemed impressed:

Notice how some of the so-called “journalists” seen above failed to provide any context behind the meaning of Trump’s jacket.

Critics were not impressed. What bothered them was Biden’s recent hash of attention-seeking behavior, from wearing this conspicuous jacket to bossing her husband, President Joe Biden, around publicly and, more strangely, acting like she’s America’s real president.

Case in point: Prior to departing for the summit, she tweeted a bizarre photo of herself at her desk flipping through a large binder.

“Prepping for the G7,” she wrote as a caption.

The tweet provoked widespread confusion because it’s not ordinary for spouses to play any prominent role at the G7 summit.

“Past G7 and G20 summits invariably show the political spouses at play, visiting art galleries, sampling delicious wines, dining at showcase restaurants and suchlike. The message seems to be that the weighty business of solving the world’s problems is conducted by their predominantly male partners locked in roundtable discussions, while the wives’ role is to ‘bolster’ relationships,” The Guardian notes.

In a tweet posted Thursday morning in response to the first lady’s own tweet, former senior Clinton-era military aide Buzz Patterson, a retired U.S. Air Force pilot, noted that he’s never seen anything like this before.

Look:

Nor has there ever been an instance in American history of a first lady telling the president of the United States to “pay attention.” Yet that happened too.

In the middle of a brief speech delivered before her husband’s official first speech to U.S. troops stationed abroad Wednesday at the Royal Air Force Mildenhall in Britain, the first lady had to turn around to exclaim, “Pay attention, Joe!”

The comments provoked laughter on the assumption that she was joking. But the president’s dementia-like aloofness, endless gaffes and noted memory lapses left many wondering if she truly had been joking.

After stepping up to the podium to deliver his own speech, the president briefly forgot to tell the airmen to be “at ease.” When he remembered a couple of minutes later, he offered a bizarre explanation for why he’d forgotten.

“I keep forgetting I’m president,” he pithily said.

These incidents have left the appearance that Biden is, at best, her husband’s babysitter, or, at worst, the one truly in charge.
