Bernie supporter famous for ‘tax the rich’ mantra defends $2,000,000 apartment: I didn’t mean me!

A TikTok influencer who is known for her social media posts that support socialist Bernie Sanders and for modeling “Tax the Rich” merchandise is being ridiculed after making a video that shows off her $2 million apartment.

Nicole Sanchez, also known by “Neekolul,” became known for her viral “OK Boomer” TikTok video where she dances and lip-syncs while wearing a Sanders campaign t-shirt. She went on to record herself doing her routine again in a “Tax the Rich” sweatshirt that was sold by New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign. The videos had millions of views.

Sanchez tours her new apartment claiming that the kitchen is her favorite space. She shows off an empty wine fridge and a Nespresso machine even though she ironically “doesn’t drink coffee.”

“This is like Martha Stewart vibes,” Sanchez gushes while taking in her new kitchen. “Like, I think only people that are like Martha Stewart’s will find this very pleasing.”

Sanchez then takes her followers to the “East Side” of her apartment where she tours the living room, laundry room, and then her bedroom. She even has a place for her brother to stay and play video games.

She goes through an office, a gaming area, a second bathroom, and her streaming room where she creates her videos, all the while pointing to personal artwork and garish decor.

The leftist social media icon is not shy about her politics and doesn’t seem to consider her wealth hypocritical. “I had my stance on views and politics when I first put the first OK Boomer Tiktok. And even like, whatever I’m making now, compared to then, I would see if people would be upset if I didn’t have those views anymore,” Sanchez said in a recent video that discussed her net worth and income.

“All I’m doing is standing by the beliefs I started off with, and I’m here. Whether I’m making this money or not, I just feel like it’s not something to be rude about. Because there’s nothing to be rude about,” Sanchez defensively stated. “I think when people mean like, ‘Tax the rich,’ I think at the end of the day they do mean, like, billionaires and people who have insane, unfathomable amounts of wealth.”

Not everyone was impressed.

“The OK Boomer girl went from criticizing Rich Boomers to becoming a Rich Boomer,” one critic on YouTube noted.

“Imagine becoming the thing you were crying and pandering about. A rich stuck up boomer,” stated another.

“I can bet she will continue promoting Bernie and lefty politics,” declared another critic on Youtube. “She’s not gonna come out as some conservative/libertarian and embrace capitalism.”

“‘I still stand by my beliefs’, says the ‘socialist’ who moved from California to Texas to avoid the 12-13% State Income Tax. What’s worse is that she will most likely vote for politicians that want to turn Texas into California,” another non-fan quipped.

Sanchez derives her wealth from her Twitch account which is a live service that is aimed at video game streaming. According to Dexerto, she has reportedly partnered with esports organization 100 Thieves.

She has a fanbase of over 700,000 followers on Twitter and 382,ooo on Twitch.
