White House press secretary Jen Psaki seemed to admit late last week that, contrary to what actually happened, as far as President Joe Biden is concerned a “number” of U.S. Capitol Police officers died on the day of the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol.

She offered the unusual admission after being asked by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins to remark on an emotional letter recently written to all members of the U.S. government by a Capitol police officer who’d been injured during the riot.

“I’m happy to check on the status of the letter. Obviously, the president’s view is that there are a number of officers who lost their lives, paid a tremendous sacrifice on a day that will be a stain on our democracy for many years to come,” Psaki responded.

“And certainly many who survived. This will be a long lasting trauma. I’d have to check on the letter and the status of that,” she added.

Listen:

Perhaps she simply misspoke, but she made it sound as if Biden believes “a number of officers … lost their lives” specifically on Jan. 6th. But that never happened.

All known evidence now points to zero Capitol officers dying during the riot and, more importantly, zero Capitol officers being killed by the rioters. Period.

Granted, this was not the initial narrative. For months Democrats and their media allies falsely claimed that deceased officer Brian Sicknick had been murdered by right-wing rioters who’d smashed a fire extinguisher on his head.

Not til April was it confirmed that the narrative was a lie and that Sicknick had died from natural causes at a nearby hospital a day after the riot.

Pulitizer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald has argued that the reason that Democrats and their media stuck with the Sicknick lie til the very end was to purposefully portray the Jan. 6th riot as something far more sinister.

“It was weaponized over and over to depict the pro-Trump mob not as just violent but barbaric and murderous, because if Sicknick weren’t murdered by them, then nobody was (without Sicknick, the only ones killed were four pro-Trump supporters: two who died of a heart attack, one from an amphetamine overdose, and the other, Ashli Babbitt, who was shot point blank in the neck by Capitol Police despite being unarmed),” he wrote for Substack last month.

“So crucial was this fairy tale about Sicknick that it made its way into the official record of President Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate, and they had Joe Biden himself recite from the script, even as clear facts mounted proving it was untrue,” he added.

It appears that Biden is still reading “from the script,” albeit through a proxy (Psaki), and that the media have no interest in fact-checking his false narratives.

Two other Capitol officers also died after Jan. 6th, both from suicide. The only people who died during the riot were four of the rioters themselves.

Benjamin Phillips died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (a stroke), Kevin Greeson died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (a heart attack), Rosanne Boyland died of acute amphetamine intoxication (a drug overdose) and Ashli Babbitt died when a Capitol officer shot her at point-blank range, as reported by Washington, D.C., radio station WTOP:

Despite these facts, Democrats have tried to falsely portray the riot as an “insurrection” that almost led to their murders by Trump supporters. In some cases, they’ve even outright lied to prop up this false narrative.

Take New York Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, who made it seem as if she’d been in the thick of the riots. Evidence later emerged that she’d instead been in a side building that the rioters never penetrated.

This didn’t mean she wasn’t affect by the riot. But it did debunk her hyperbolic rhetoric about how she’d been hunted down like a deer. Yet months later, she still continues to trot out this false narrative.

Just last week the Democrat congresswoman claimed she’s been receiving therapy because of the alleged “trauma” she suffered from the riot.

“After the 6th, I took some time and it was really [Rep.] Ayanna Pressley, when I explained to her what happened to me, like the day of, because I ran to her office, and she was like, ‘You need to recognize trauma. And this is something that you went through, but we’re all going through. And it’s really important to pause after that, because that’s how you process it,'” she said according to People magazine.

Again, not a single member of Congress or police officer died during the riot. The only ones who did die were a couple of the left’s hated “deplorables” …
