TX sheriff is furious Biden is forcing Nat’l Guard, border agents to pick up illegal immigrants’ garbage

Texas Sheriff AJ “Andy” Louderback blasted President Biden for forcing the Texas National Guard to pick up piles of trash on the U.S./Mexico border, calling it a “complete embarrassment.”

The outspoken Jackson County sheriff slammed the Biden administration’s border policies. He noted during a Fox News interview that he took great offense to the National Guard and border agents being drafted into the garbage collection business instead of being allowed to do their real jobs.

“It’s incomprehensible that a national security border, our border with another…foreign country is in the shape that it is,” Louderback told “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday.

Instead of enforcing the law and stemming the flow of thousands of illegal immigrants surging across the border every month, border agents and the National Guard have reportedly been tasked with cleaning up their mess.

Anonymous officials told the Washington Examiner that truckloads of garbage were left behind by human smugglers and illegal immigrants when they crossed the border.

One of those officials reportedly commented, “The pictures don’t fully show the impact we see in person. However, the team did an outstanding job in getting it all loaded and hauled.”

U.S. Border Patrol’s Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin Skero recently tweeted a video showing some of the trash left behind.

The trash is also piling up on the Mexico side of the border.

It’s not a new problem as the massive dumping of trash has reportedly been going on for years at the border. But with the recent influx of migrants, the problem has dramatically increased.

Louderback lamented that the entire situation would not be allowed to continue if President Biden and Vice President Harris would come to the border to “see for themselves.” The Texas sheriff noted that there have been “car crashes, increased deaths, exploitation of women, and environmental concerns” that have occurred in the area.

He informed co-host Jedediah Bila that “…migrants come into the border or stash along the travel routes into the major cities here.”

“This is a major travel route, the number one human trafficking here in the United States, a tremendous hub for human trafficking and narcotics,” he explained.

The sheriff remarked that the border was “littered completely” with trash. He also said that there was an “incredible amount” of water bottles, clothing, and backpacks just lying around on the ground.

“Do we talk about the level of fear here in Texas and across the United States as an open border policy expands here? Do we talk about the cartel expansion and the strength and the power that they now exhibit here in the United States?” Louderback charged.

He concluded by declaring that the border crisis is being “completely ignored.”

Currently, it is being reported that nearly 25,000 unaccompanied minors are being held in border facilities by the Biden administration. Border agents and others have been forced to stop doing their jobs to enforce the law and instead, they are now babysitting, feeding, and caring for illegal immigrants. Trash duty has now allegedly been added to their job descriptions.
