President Joe Biden sparked widespread mockery over his claim about the “most lethal terrorist threat” facing America during his congressional speech.
Speaking before a limited-attendance joint session of Congress on Wednesday, Biden decried what he said U.S. “intelligence agencies have determined” is the paramount threat to the “homeland,” but he did not go on to call out ISIS or other foreign agents at the top. In fact, Biden was not even referring to Antifa or Black Lives Matter supporters who ravaged portions of the country last year in city-wide rioting.
The president cautioned that Americans must remain vigilant against threats of terrorism whatever their source, while he named “white supremacy” as the most “lethal” of all.
During his prepared remarks, while warning about Al Qaeda and ISIS hotspots around the world, Biden added that, “And we won’t ignore what our intelligence agencies have determined to be the most lethal terrorist threat to our homeland today: White supremacy is terrorism. We’re not going to ignore that either.”
Biden’s comments received a lot of approval on liberal Twitter. For others, they went over like a lead balloon.
If only Democrats fought ISIS like they fight imaginary white supremacy https://t.co/50hiKcvqqf

Can they please just define white supremacy, what it is, how many people practice it, and why after 50 years in government Joe Biden is the one to dismantle it?

Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck pointed out how NBC’s Andrea Mitchell gushed over Biden’s “remarkable speech.”

If the claims about white supremacy being “the most lethal” threat to America were true, then the federal government surely must take action to root it out.
Many of these intelligence agencies, however, are the same ones that claimed that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in Election 2016. Lots of people, including Mark Levin, have also wondered why Democrat Biden, after about 50 years as an influential federal government employee, didn’t take necessary steps to resolve this systemic problem.
More recently, recall that Democrats and the corporate media described the at-times lethal riots that swept America last summer as mostly peaceful protests. Currently, cartels are reportedly playing a huge role in the destabilizing humanitarian and law enforcement crisis at the southern border.
Some might say that white supremacy apparently is hardly discouraging people from all over the world and from all backgrounds trying to come to America legally or illegally to live.
Biden’s clueless take earned him plenty of ridicule on social media.
Here is a sampling of those reactions:
The same intelligence agencies that were just caught breaking laws to spy on Americans without warrants? Because they seem trustworthy.

It was lethal alright. 30 years ago. Why are we bringing this up anymore? They’re basically irrelevant, stuck in a junk yard somewhere listening to thrash metal. Im quite sure we can concentrate on dozens of more pertinent threats

That’s odd, because I thought that the most lethal terrorist threat was BLM/Antifa.
Since they are the ones actually, you know, torching things and killing people. https://t.co/AeGs3RMN2K

Does this man realize just because someone is WHITE and didn’t vote for him doesn’t mean they are a WHITE SUPREMACIST?

The physical embodiment of White Supremacy says it’s terrorism.
At least he’s honest.
