Jesse Kelly: BLM a timely ‘front group’ for Leftists to worm Communism into American society

The First TV host Jesse Kelly said during his program Thursday evening that American “Marxists” have glommed on to the Black Lives Matter movement and will ride it to perpetual power after other leftist causes, including environmentalism and feminism, have failed to produce a similar result.

During the segment, Kelly noted that the BLM movement originated in the wake of the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman on Feb. 26, 2012. Within a month of the shooting, then-President Barack Obama appeared to politicize it when he said during a press conference, “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”

But, as Kelly noted, the BLM movement ebbed for the next few years before spiking in popularity and notoriety in 2018 after “the system” latched on to it as a means of obtaining power.

“What changed was, the system decided this is something we can use for our purposes, and the system simply threw its weight behind it,” the host said, using examples of pop culture to prove his point.

“When is the last time your kids turned on their video games and you saw a brand-new customized page talking about ‘Earth First’ or something like that?” Kelly asked. “It’s never happened. When was the last time you were scrolling through the [TV] channels and every other channel was something talking about feminists and feminism and this is why women are oppressed.

“It’s never happened,” he continued. “You see, what happened with Black Lives Matter is, the system realized this is the one. Of all of our Communist front groups, this is the one that will lead us to the promised land.”

Over the past year especially, in the wake of the George Floyd incident in May 2020, the BLM movement was embraced by professional sports leagues, the entertainment industry, academia, much of the mainstream media, and Corporate America in a way that previous leftist movements were not.

Kelly went on to say that the BLM movement “goes after American sensibilities” in a unique way because “we had slaves once in America and America is a Christian nation.”

“Those two things combined, and it’s easy to get people to feel guilty, even about things they had nothing to do with,” he said.

Continuing, Kelly said Democrats fully embraced the movement strictly as a vehicle to “gain power.”

The host then cited the BLM movement’s own online information in which the organization discusses goals and leftist ideology, adding that information about destroying the Western nuclear family, in particular, has since been scrubbed from its website.

“They’re just Communists,” Kelly said. “That’s where they got everybody. They picked at you and picked at you and picked at you and picked at American society and got everyone to think, ‘Wow, this is a group fighting for black people and justice and equality.

“They have nothing to do with justice and equality,” he continued, before adding that he was about to say something that will make “heads exploded.”

Referencing statistics he admitted were historic estimates, the host claimed that the “idiots” who belonged to the Ku Klux Klan over the span of its existence were responsible for about half as many deaths of blacks as BLM.

“Do you know that in their entire existence the KKK killed — they estimate, we only have estimates because so many of these things were terrible and done in secret — but they estimate about 3,500 black people were killed by the KKK in the entirety of their existence,” said Kelly, going on to say that since “Black Lives Matter got cops defunded…and out of poor, black, urban neighborhoods” over just the past year, as many as 6,000 people, mostly black, were killed in those communities.

Kelly was likely referencing a just-released study from Travis Campbell, a PhD student in economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, whose research suggests that between 2014 and 2019 (not including the riotous 2020), between 1,000 and 6,000 more homicides were committed in cities with the most BLM protests, according to Vox News, which first reported the findings.

Vox added: “Omar Wasow, a professor at Princeton University who has done seminal research on the effect of protests, told Vox that the results are ‘entirely plausible’ and ‘not surprising,’ considering existing protest research.”

“That means any single way you slice it, Black Lives Matter is responsible for more black people being killed than the KKK,” Kelly noted. “That’s what Communism does. They worm their way in using your sensibilities…and they destroy.”
