Late-night Full Frontal host and comedian Samantha Bee told veteran journalist Dan Rather that she “can’t deny’ pulling punches when it comes to Joe Biden jokes and stated that “There are more worthy targets right now.”
The leftist TBS comic honestly admitted that she has been letting Biden off easy and said that she “approves” of his policies. Former President Trump and his family were targets of Bee’s biting and at times, vicious humor during his presidency, but President Biden is getting a preferential pass.
Bee made the confession on SiriusXM’s program Dan Rather’s America this week. Rather asked Bee point-blank: “Do you or do you not find yourself sometimes find yourself at least tempted to kind of pull your punches?”
“In other words, you, myself, and a lot of other people, more or less free-swingers against President Trump. But now that Biden is in — ” he continued. It’s hard to tell exactly what he meant by the “free-swingers” reference.

“Sure,” Bee acknowledged. Rather continued: “Do you find yourself saying, ‘Boy, I don’t know. There’s a nasty comedy bit I could unload on Biden,’ but saying to yourself, ‘I approve so much I’m going to pull this punch.’ Do you find that happening?”
“I can’t deny that that has happened, I think that’s probably true across the board,” Bee asserted. “You’re like, ‘Okay, well, we could be making jokes about — we could be making jokes about the infrastructure plan,’ but in general, I’m like, ‘Wow, this is great.’ Why would I purposefully undermine something that seems to be a great idea, pretty much across the board? Like, I don’t need to make jokes just to make jokes. Like, I like to make targeted jokes.” Some would consider that an odd statement for a comic to make.
“There are more worthy targets right now I think.” Bee also declared that she is planning “a segment about what’s happening at the border because we really don’t understand it. We really want to understand it.”
“So, you know, they’re not going to be immune to our, like, comedically interrogating what they are doing. It’s not like we are going to back off everything that we do,” Bee defensively added.
To bolster her claim, Bee referred to a recent segment she did that allegedly criticizes the government for not supporting independent pharmacists in their efforts to administer inoculations. The segment in question actually went after the state of New York, however, not the Biden administration.
Bee got her five minutes of real fame for attacking Ivanka Trump in 2018 over a photo with her little boy and Trump’s immigration policies. “Ivanka Trump, who works at the White House, chose to post the second most oblivious tweet we’ve seen this week,” Bee stated. “Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c*nt!”
Ironically, Bee is mostly silent on Biden’s immigration policies which have created a full-blown crisis on the border.
“He listens to you. Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to f*cking stop it,” she insinuatingly snarled. “Tell him it was an Obama thing and see how it goes, okay?”
