A Calgary pastor is being hailed for his flat rejection of a local official and police who interrupted a service on Saturday, reportedly over COVID-19 guideline concerns.
Pastor Artur Pawlowski recorded himself encountering an official, reportedly from Alberta Health Services, who had entered the Fortress (Cave) of Adullam church with an escort of several police officers, and he wasn’t pussyfooting around.
“Please get out,” Pawlowski told the officials in a stairwell leading to the sanctuary. “Get out of this property, immediately. Get out.”
The woman tried to explain why they were there, but the Polish-Canadian pastor and political activist was having none of it.
“Get out of this property, immediately. Out!” he said. “I don’t want to hear anything … out immediately.”
The official persisted, and the head of Calgary’s Street Church in Alberta, Canada, ramped up the aggression.
“Out!” he yelled. “Out of this property … immediately until you come back with a warrant.”
Still, the officials ignored Pawlowski, who began screaming “Out!” over and over.
“Immediately. Go out and do not come back,” he said, as they finally began a slow retreat, even though the woman continued to try to explain their presence.
His adrenalin pumping, he told the official that he didn’t care what she had to say, adding, “Out of this property, you Nazis!”
“Out — Gestapo not allowed here!” he added. “Immediately. Gestapo is not allowed here. Out! Do you understand English?”
He continued to call the officials Nazis as they began leaving the church, telling them, “Nazis are not welcome here. Do not come back you Nazi psychopaths!”
“Unbelievable sick people. Intimidating people in the church during the Passover,” he commented as they walked away. “You Gestapo, Nazi, communist fascists! Don’t you dare come back here!”
“Can you imagine those psychopaths? Passover. The holiest Christian festival of the year and they’re coming to intimidate Christians during the holiest festival? Unbelievable. What is wrong with those sick psychopaths. It’s beyond me. How dare they,” he continued.
Pawlowski had already been fined more than once for COVID-19 violations, according to the Calgary Herald.
The newspaper reported that churches can hold services in the city, but have to keep attendances below 15% and follow certain guidelines, including wearing masks.
“Our inspectors have an important job to do and we ask that business owners and organizations treat them with respect,” Alberta Health Services told CTV News. “We stand by all of our public health inspectors who are doing an incredible job in trying and challenging circumstances.”
Incensed, the pastor continued to preach to the camera as the officials loaded up in their vehicles and left.
“Unbelievable, we’re living in a total takeover of the government with their thugs, goons, the brown shirts, the Gestapo wannabe dictators,” Pawlowski said. “Coming to the church armed with guns and tasers and handcuffs to intimidate during Passover celebration?”
“Well I guess that’s what it is, they want to enslave us all like the Egyptians did. They want to be the Pharaohs of today, that’s what they’re doing. Unbelievable. People, if you don’t stand up, wake up, I don’t know what will happen tomorrow,” he added.

Ezra Levant, the founder of Rebel News. tweeted that it is against the law in Canada to interrupt a church service — which may explain why the authorities left.
This is how you handle police who enter a church without a warrant. They’re lucky they only got a tongue-lashing: s. 176 of the Criminal Code makes it a crime to disturb a church service. Those @CalgaryPolice thugs were breaking the law (and knew it). pic.twitter.com/0XhAuwv0yg

And while the authorities took no action Saturday, that doesn’t mean Pawlowski is in the clear.
The Calgary Police released a statement saying people in attendance “were not adhering to the government’s COVID-19 public health orders,” adding that “it will be up to our partner agencies to determine subsequent enforcement activity in response to this situation.”

The video footage swept across social media on Easter Sunday, and Pawlowski was deemed an “absolute legend” by the same social media user who shared footage of a Good Friday service being stopped in the United Kingdom:

If there was a award for the Best Walk of Shame those cops just won it for the next 40 years.

And Jesus answering, said to them: Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.
Jesus knew that you had to go along to get along sometimes…

I am shocked and appalled at how quickly and cheerfully the American church has bowed to the tyranny of the state.
I have already renounced my membership in a church because of their craven capitulation; and I will not attend another church that surrenders so easily.

Those cops looked so embarrassed to be there. Look at the shame on their shoulders as they walk away.
