Michael Moore’s tweet about Boulder shooter is indescribably vile and anti-American

Liberal filmmaker and progressive pundit Michael Moore attempted to be snarky and clever on Twitter after a mass shooting in Boulder left ten people dead. Instead, he offended many on social media and got blasted for it as possibly the worst tweet ever.

On Tuesday, Moore faced massive backlash over his tweet dripping with insensitive sarcasm: “The life of Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa shows that people can come from all over the world and truly assimilate into our beloved American culture.” It featured a picture of the Statue of Liberty.

The Colorado shooter was identified as 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa who originally came to the United States from Syria when he was a child. His Facebook page, which is now taken down, reportedly ranted on about “racist islamophobic people,” his hatred for former President Trump, and about not having a girlfriend. He was seen as volatile and paranoid.

Alissa allegedly purchased a gun six days before his rampage at a grocery store where one of his victims was a 51-year-old police officer, who was first on the scene. That policeman left behind 7 children, ages 5 to 18. The motive for the shooting is still unknown – Alissa has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder. According to an anonymous White House official via political pundit Jack Posobiec, he allegedly had ISIS sympathies.

Moore’s flippant attitude towards the tragedy left many furious and disgusted. He is an ardent gun-control advocate who ostensibly seizes on any shooting tragedy to call for the curtailment of Second Amendment rights. His tweet appeared to many to be a slap at “American culture” and an insinuation that anyone can easily get a gun.

The media originally ran with the shooter as being a violent, white guy but had to backtrack that slant after Alissa was arrested. That did not stop Moore from taking a different angle of attack.

Moore joined the left in calling for gun control right on top of the tragedy in Boulder with no respect for the dead and their families. President Biden is now calling on the Senate to pass gun control immediately. He’s also threatening to implement purportedly unconstitutional executive orders that will ban assault weapons and further gun control. He said he didn’t “want to wait another minute, let alone an hour,” to make his move on gun violence, according to Fox News.

“I got that done as a senator. It brought down mass shootings, we can do it again,” Biden declared. “We can ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in this country once again.”

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki informed reporters that Biden is “considering a range” of executive orders on gun control. Those proposed actions do not specifically require the approval of Congress but they are sure to be challenged in front of the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, the “Bowling for Columbine” director was razed on social media for his incredibly insensitive message.

“So we’re all in agreement this is the worst tweet ever, right?” Daily Caller reporter Andrew Kerr appropriately stated.

“Crapping all over the people who lost loved ones while taking and [sic] even steamier hot crap all over America,” slammed radio host Trey Radel.

“He’s trying to be smart or funny, but is neither. Which is…par for the course,” National Review contributor Pradheep J. Shanker pointed out.

“This takes the cake for the absolute worst tweet I’ve ever seen on this dumpster fire site,” Kara Zupkus of Young America’s Foundation accurately stated.

And there was much, much more as Moore was ripped by Twitter users for his tone-deaf, politically-motivated slur:
