Judge Jeanine shuts down segment when guest distorts Biden record: ‘I don’t tolerate lies on my show!’

Tireless Trump supporter and law-and-order champion Jeanine Pirro was not having it when a Democrat apologist tried to deflect from the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border by claiming that Joe Biden is “making a America great again” in the context of the latest stimulus legislation that the Democrats rammed through.

“I’m stopping you right now. I don’t tolerate lies on my show,” Pirro told immigration attorney David Leopold in the video clip embedded below. “He’s bringing COVID into this country after Americans weren’t allowed to go to work, go to church, or visit families or go to funerals. Now he’s bringing in a whole pandemic during a pandemic…Thanks for being here, and thanks for nothing.”

And with that, Pirro shut the Fox News’ Justice with Judge Jeanine segment down.

Leopold probably had the unconvincing attempted MAGA slogan steal (could that constitute cultural appropriation?) in his rhetorical back pocket and was waiting to deploy it when it thought it would help him during the immigration debate.

During the back and forth, Leopold seemed to imply that Republicans were using the border crisis to distract America from the COVID relief bill.

Judge Jeanine fired back, “What does that have to do with immigration other than burdening the Americans with more taxes. What’s that got to do with what we are talking about?”

Critics have argued that the so-called American Recovery Act is loaded with pork and is primarily a bailout for mismanaged blue states and cities.

Earlier in the interview, they sparred about “facts,” especially when Leopold tried to downplay the humanitarian and law enforcement crisis at the southern border by claiming more migrants crossed the border in 2019 when President Donald Trump was still in office.

“You are wrong on the facts,” Pirro responded. “A hundred thousand in February of this year is the highest number in 15 years. That is a fact. If you want to go through the cages, I want you to look at a picture of the cage…This cage with children in it, the date is 2014. That cage was built and used during the Obama Administration. Obama was putting the kids cages, and your numbers are wrong, too. The highest number is because Biden is sending them in.”

Recall that the Democrat-media complex had a collective meltdown when they blamed the Trump administration for kids in cages.

Leopold, who at one point insisted that “very few things that I hear on this show tonight have been facts,” blamed the “chaotic” Trump administration for supposedly lifting aid to Central America. “This is Trump’s failure,” he claimed, which has emerged as a Democrat talking point, if not a form of revisionist history.

“You are so wrong,” the judge shot back. “I’m sorry; you’re not entitled to your own facts. Donald Trump gave money to the Northern Triangle countries to incentivize them to work so that these people would not come to America until their asylum claim was approved. In fact, even Mexican President Obrador disagrees with you. He’s the one that says that stemming the flow was only happening with Donald Trump. And that this is a disaster. And he believes that the cartels are coming through Mexico, and now there is a real gang operation going on on his border as well. Is the president wrong?”

Instead of answering the question, Leopold pivoted to the COVID bill, at which point Judge Jeanine ended the interview as detailed above.

The Biden administration has also halted border wall construction, ended the Remain in Mexico policy for asylum seekers, brought back catch and release, and as the judge alluded to, is apparently not testing migrants for the coronavirus infection. The Biden team is also reportedly preventing the media from reporting the full scope of what’s going on at the border.

Parenthetically, President Obrador, although a leftist, generally worked with the Trump administration on border security, has condemned Internet censorship, and also did not rush to congratulate Biden after the election because of his own unfortunate experience with voter fraud.

Separately on the show, having just returned from a visit to the border region, Judge Jeanine declared that “The United States under the Biden administration has knowingly, intentionally with due deliberation, surrendered our southern border.”
