“Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade ripped President Joe Biden for comments he made about the lingering COVID-19 pandemic during his first address to the nation since taking office Thursday night.
In a Friday morning segment, Kilmeade and co-hosts Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt discussed Biden’s speech in which the president predicted all Americans who want a vaccine will be able to get one by May, which could lead to small groups being able to get together in time to celebrate Independence Day on July 4.
Earhardt noted that Biden’s “original goal” upon taking office was “1 million shots per day,” adding that level of vaccinations had been reached by the time Biden took office, thanks to pre-production and planning by former President Donald Trump’s administration.
Kilmeade then took over, first playing a clip of Fox News host and conservative syndicated radio star Mark Levin, who passionately explained that last summer, the Trump administration — under the auspices of “Operation Warp Speed” — pre-ordered 800 million doses of vaccines from a number of pharmaceutical companies developing them at the time, and without ever knowing if any of them were going to be successful.
Levin then said in mid-December after two companies had received emergency approval for their vaccines from the FDA, the Trump administration ordered an additional 200 million doses.
“Where do you think these vaccines are coming from? You think they’re coming from Joe Biden in the basement?” an animated Levin said in the clip, going on to blast Biden for taking credit for the vaccines and other measures without additional context or explanation.
Taking over after the clip, Kilmeade said that during his speech, Biden could have talked about Operation Warp Speed’s success in getting vaccines developed in record time, as well as the fact that a third vaccine was nearly ready to go when he was inaugurated Jan. 20, as a means of unifying the country.
Kilmeade also hit at Biden for saying his administration will be ordering 100 million more vaccines.
“Since when is it a great idea to make more vaccine? It turns out, according to The New York Times, that Donald Trump was set by July (2020) to have 800 million vaccines just for the two that were already approved, so that was already done,” said Kilmeade.
The co-host went on to lash out at praise of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top immunologist, as he went on to cite several things that Fauci said over the course of the pandemic that were wrong or conflicting.
Kilmeade then cited a Wall Street Journal editorial that said Trump “put too much faith” in his health experts’ “lockdown models.”
“So we said ’15 days to lockdown,’ the governors never let up,” Kilmeade continued, saying Biden should have pointed that out.
“We still can’t get the shackles off in about 25 states, and when you do take them off,” as several states have moved to end COVID restrictions, “now you get ridiculed,” he added, noting several governors continue to impose economic “pain” on their citizens.
“That’s the story that should have been written. And we don’t need to go over the 500,000 dead,” Kilmeade said. “We had that moment. Let’s talk about the future moving forward.
“Every time [Biden] has a chance to praise the previous administration, he not only doesn’t praise, he kicks ‘em in the groin.”
Kilmeade’s take drew no small amount of heat online.
“We had that moment” what the hell???

Praise trump for calling it a hoax? Praise trump for mocking people who wear a mask? Praise Trump for “ losing” 20 million doses of vaccine? Praise Trump for inciting an insurrection? Where to start.

I’m often angered by these clips, or possibly amused, but I’m rarely completely dumbstruck
How devoid of a soul and cold-hearted can you be to brazenly dismiss HALF A MILLION dead Americans
Its like the population of Atlanta being wiped out in a year, and he simply doesn’t care pic.twitter.com/16GnjyYL26
