WaPo gives ‘state-run media’ run for its money in gushing sell of Biden stimulus: ‘Showers money on Americans’

The Washington Post published an ostensibly objective “report” on President Joe Biden this Saturday that was so sycophantic that it left one high-profile Eastern European expat absolutely stunned.

Biden stimulus showers money on Americans, sharply cutting poverty in defining move of presidency,” the title of the piece read.

Remember, it was meant to be an objective report.

In response, Tatjana Pašalić, a high-profile Croatain poker player who grew up in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, wrote on Twitter that she’d escaped her home country years ago in hopes of never having to read such blatant propaganda again.

Look:

Her sentiment was echoed by countless others, particularly those who recalled the paper’s claims that its “reporters don’t root for a side.”

Look:

Even Marianne Williamson, a Democrat who participated in the 2020 Democrat presidential primary elections, was left aghast by the Post’s sycophancy:

In fairness to the Post, the actual piece wasn’t quite as sycophantic.

For instance, the Post admitted that the ostensible coronavirus bill en route to Biden’s desk could overheat the economy and trigger inflation.

The Post also admitted that the bill’s bloated unemployment perks have businesses saying that “they’re already having trouble getting unemployed workers to return to work.”

On the other hand, conservative media, which elitist outlets like the Post consider beneath them, were warning about the consequences of bloated unemployment perks a year ago:

Plus, the piece barely covered the bill’s negatives. There was no mention of incarcerated inmates receiving stimulus money, and there was no mention of federal employees being offered $21,000 in free money, in addition to a $1,400 check.

Also at issue was the stunning contrast between the Post’s coverage of the current coronavirus relief bill and its coverage of former President Donald Trump’s coronavirus relief bills.

It’s the same contrast seen when comparing how the left-wing media, including the Post, treat the deaths of terrorists, and how they treat the deaths of conservatives:

As for Trump, another fact that the Post neglected to mention in its report was that the former president gave the American people — and more of the American people, to boot — more actual relief than Biden.

It’s a fact that even far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar recognizes.

“We obviously are now ultimately sending money to less people than the Trump administration,” she said during an appearance Friday on CNN.

But for some reason, to the Post, a paper known for warning that “democracy dies in darkness,” this fact clearly isn’t obvious …
