“Hercules” star and devout Christian Kevin Sorbo has officially been de-platformed by Facebook which has reportedly deleted his page with over 500,000 followers with no explanation.
Facebook has not responded to a request from Sorbo asking that they explain why he should be, in effect, censored and deleted from the social media platform. Sorbo is best known for the hit TV series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.” He has also starred in movies such as “Soul Surfer,” “God’s Not Dead,” “Let There Be Light,” and “A Miracle in East Texas.”
Sorbo tweeted on Friday concerning the development: “BREAKING: Facebook has deleted my official account with over 500,000 followers I have created a new page, spread the word!” So far, the page has few followers, far less than his original following.
The actor has been an ardent critic of progressivism, liberalism, and cancel-culture. He just recently posted: “Guess it’s time to cancel Disney Plus” after one of their stars was fired for stating a politically conservative opinion. Sorbo is also an ardent Trump supporter.

Sorbo has also criticized those such as Colin Kaepernick. In 2018, he posted: “I just returned a pair of Nike shoes to the store. I complained that they hurt my feet when I stand for the [national anthem].” He has questioned the effectiveness of masks during the pandemic and is staunchly against abortion.

The actor has been extremely critical of the Biden administration. On Friday, Sorbo slammed President Biden over reports that he’s allegedly threatening to ban travel from Florida using the coronavirus as an excuse. “So banning travel from China to the United States is xenophobic, but installing that same travel ban on Florida is perfectly acceptable. Got it,” tweeted Sorbo.

The erasing of Sorbo on Facebook is one more example of a conservative being silenced on social media platforms.
While a number of liberals on Twitter celebrated the erasure of Sorbo, others said he should collaborate with axed ‘Mandalorian’ star Gina Carano. She was ‘canceled’ after posting on social media against political intolerance. It caused the left to be massively triggered and got her fired from Disney. Now, she is producing and starring in a movie over at Ben Shapiro’s The Daily Wire. Sorbo could presumably find a home there as well.
Facebook has recently expanded its list of “false” and “debunked” claims concerning Covid-19 and vaccines. That policy is allegedly being used to boot conservatives from the platform.
Sorbo is far from alone in being censored on social media. In one of many examples, Facebook also allegedly suspended a Bible professor for seven days after he put up a post criticizing Biden’s policies supporting transgender individuals.
