That easy? Leftist David Hogg’s new pillow venture to take down Mike Lindell off to hilarious start

March for Our Lives co-founder David Hogg has announced on Twitter that he will be starting up a pillow company aimed at changing the world and putting Mike Lindell’s MyPillow out of business.

Hogg, who is promoted on the left as a gun control activist and as having survived the horrific Parkland school shooting, has decided to go into the ‘unionized’ pillow business. On Twitter, he proclaimed: “Today we started a pillow company, tomorrow we change the world.”

Leftists have been targetting MyPillow with calls for widespread boycotts over Lindell’s outspoken Trump support. With the help of William LeGate, a progressive tech entrepreneur and a software engineer, Hogg intends to finish Lindell’s company off by launching fierce competition.

“This pillow fight just got very real,” Hogg quipped to his followers on Thursday. He’s calling it “progressive competition” for Lindell’s company.

“[LaGate] and I can and will run a better business and make a better product all with more happy staff than Mike the pillow guy, while creating US-based Union jobs and helping people,” Hogg continued on Twitter. “We also hope to hire formerly incarcerated people, vets and the workers from MyPillow in the case we put them out of business.”

It appears that Hogg, 20, will be the face of the company as he stated that his role would be advisory so that he can concentrate on his studies at Harvard University. The idea to start the company came from LeGate on Thursday. He said he will be investing $100,000 of his own money into the venture. LeGate claims that numerous investors are interested in the fledgling company and he called Hogg “a good person who also happens to be a genius.”

Hogg stated, “The website will be up in a couple weeks we are very much in the early stages right now.” Hogg is also looking for name suggestions: “But we really are doing this if you have cool name ideas dm me- we think we have one but we are still open.”

Hogg went on to tweet that the new company would use union-made products and support progressive causes. In a jab at both Lindell and Trump, he also added that the company would “not attempt a white supremacist overthrow of the United States government.” He also tweeted that he and LeGate hope to “sell $1 million of product within our first year” and to launch the venture in about six months.

LeGate also tweeted concerning the venture. He is asking for US-based manufacturers with experience making pillows to reach out to him: “We MAY have our pillow manufacturing partner sorted-out… hopefully will know one way or the other by the end of the night! Like we promised, will be American-made by union workers :D”

While progressives are clamoring to support Hogg’s endeavors, for now, critics are banking that whipping up a new business will be tougher than he thinks.

Hogg is also getting plenty of name suggestions on Twitter:

As for Mike Lindell, he doesn’t seem bothered at all by the development. He told Axios, “Good for them. … Nothing wrong with competition that does not infringe on someone’s patent.”
