In urging the U.S. Senate to quickly wrap up the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned Democrats that Kamala Harris could also come under scrutiny in the context of alleged incitement to violence.
“Well, I can promise you this, Sean. If you’re going to pursue this, and you want to start calling witnesses, and you want to drag this thing out, it would be fair to have Kamala Harris’ tape played where she bailed people out of jail. What more you could do to incite future violence than to pay the bill of the people who broke up the shops and beat up the cops? How is that not inciting future violence? Be careful what you wish for, my Democratic colleagues; be careful what you wish for,” Sen. Graham cautioned on the Fox News Channel’s Hannity.

Graham may, instead, be alluding to a June 2020 tweet, while civil unrest was sweeping America, in which Harris promoted the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which allegedly also helped post bail for people accused of violent crimes.
If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota. https://t.co/t8LXowKIbw

Liberals in and out of government, along with most corporate media outlets, labeled summer-long riots that swept across the country as “mostly peaceful” protests. They didn’t hesitate to characterize as an insurrection, however, the inexcusable riot at the U.S. Capitol perpetrated by a fringe group of lawbreakers among thousands of mostly peaceful rally attendees for which they argue President Trump bears responsibility.
Democrats were also firmly opposed to calling out the National Guard to restore law and order in America — until January 6, 2021.
FLASHBACK: As violent rioting continues across Democrat controlled cities, Kamala Harris' comments from June are striking: Protesters "should not" let up.

As ex-White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley has recalled, “Donald Trump didn’t support the riots, in real-time he told them to stop. He told them to be peaceful; he told them to go home in peace, not attack police officers.”
In his exchange with Graham, Hannity recalled all the inflammatory rhetoric from high-profile Democrats.

Earlier in the interview, Graham — who is sometimes MAGA (such as his chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee) and sometimes RINO (when he is backing Liz Cheney) — insisted during the show that there is nothing on tape that indicates that Trump’s words at the rally at the Capitol constituted a criminal act, such as inciting a riot, under any federal law.

Like many lawyers and legal scholars, including Mark Levin, the senator assessed the impeachment itself as unconstitutional because Trump has left office and therefore Congress has no jurisdiction over him. In addition, Graham lamented the lack of due process afforded the president in the rush-to-judgment, Democrat-controlled U.S. House.
If Democrats insist on calling witnesses, the GOP will do the same, which may include the FBI, and the trial could drag on for months even though Democrats lack enough votes to convict, according to Graham, with the whole process amounting to mere political theater.
Instead, the trial should take three or four hours, and then the chamber can go back to legislating for the American people, Graham declared.
