‘I have receipts’: Rep. Greene posts video proving who REALLY started shouting match with Rep. Cori Bush

It appears newly elected Democrat Rep. Cori Bush, who’s been accused of being a radical and liar, has no compunction about smearing her Republican colleagues.

Newly elected Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has the receipts to prove it.



In a tweet posted early Friday afternoon, Bush, a Black Lives Matter activist, accused a “maskless’ Greene of having harassed her in a hallway.

In response, over 400,000 Americans, including a large number of blue checkmark elitists, blindly accepted her claim and rushed to her defense.

Responding to the smear, the newly elected Georgia Republican posted a video recording of the incident showing what she claims really happened.

From the video, it appears Greene had been walking through the halls of Congress while recording a message about the hypocrisy of congressional Democrats. At the time she had a mask on, but she’d dropped it to her neck so she could speak more clearly.

“A bunch of bad people — or a small amount, actually — do a really bad thing, attack the Capitol, which I denounce and completely am against and don’t agree with the violence,” she said.

“But yet Democrats who cheered on, supported, called ‘peaceful protests,’ Antifa/BLM riots, the entire year long, that caused billions of dollars worth of damage, that attacked American businesses, that burned down Minneapolis, then they funded, then they supported bail bond links for criminals …,” she continued.

Her point was that congressional Democrats’ stunningly hyperbolic rhetoric over the Jan. 6th Capitol riot is appalling and hypocritical given all the support they’d shown to the violent Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots that occurred over the summer.

But before she could continue expounding on her point, Bush, who apparently had overheard her video remarks, began shrieking at her.

In response, Greene pulled up her mask and politely asked the activist congresswoman to not yell at her like an uncouth maniac.

When Bush predictably refused, the Republican congresswoman called her out for being such a hypocrite.

The video ended with Greene noting to her audience that “this is how it is here now in America.”

“Yeah, this is how it is here now. This is how it is. This is arguing with my Democrat colleagues. That’s how it is now in America. So you’re witnessing exactly what we’re having to live through,” she said.

The elevation of activists like Bush, among many others, into positions of power in academia, in media and now even in government has created a volatile environment where the most debased behavior is considered the norm.

Conversely, proper behavior, such as Greene simply demanding some respect, integrity, decency, consistency and accountability from the likes of Bush, is considered verboten.

And so, even in the face of video evidence, the congresswoman’s critics continued to portray her as the bad one, to the point that #ExpelHerNow began to trend:

And commentator Keith Olbermann urged his followers to report Greene’s video tweet as “targeted harassment,” because apparently, holding someone who’s harassing you accountable is the real harassment. Make that make sense.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi chose to give credence to Bush’s lies by approving her request for her office to be relocated away from Greene’s office.

“This room assignment change was by the direct order of the Speaker upon request by Rep. Bush,” one of the speaker’s aides told Fox News.

Does the truth matter to anyone? It certainly doesn’t appear to matter to Congressional Democrats and the blue checkmark elitists who blindly support them.

But according to Greene, it does matter to the tens of thousands of Georgia residents who voted her into office last year:

“Every attack. Every lie. Every smear strengthens my base of support at home and across the country because people know the truth and are fed up with the lies,” she said in the statement seen above.

“While big PACs and powerful corporations refuse to donate to Republicans and cave to the vicious cancel culture mob, the people have my back,” Greene said.  “The same 75 million people who voted for President Trump. Voters who will be vital to Republicans taking back the House in 2022.”
