Declaring war on the grassroots MAGA movement is a deflection from what’s really going on in the Oval Office, Fox News Channel host Jesse Watters said, reacting to Biden’s inaugural address.
In his “Watters’ Words” monologue, Watters described the scapegoating of peaceful Trump supporters as a component of the “Biden protection plan” implemented by vindictive, “America Last Democrats” and their corporate media allies.
“The American people should demand to know what’s going on inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Now I don’t expect Joe to be scrutinized, though, to be honest with you. You’re gonna be scrutinized instead to take the pressure off Joe. Part of the protection plan requires an enemy. That enemy is the populist wing of the Republican Party. Whoever wrote Biden’s inaugural address understands that and declared war on MAGA under the banner of unity,” the Watters’ World anchor declared.
Watters then played a clip of Biden talking about defeating white supremacy and domestic terrorism. Biden may have been alluding to the universally condemned riot at the U.S. Capitol on the day Congress certified the Electoral College votes. He warned that the Deep State may be getting ready to conduct another witch hunt.
“Biden’s speech recklessly overreached if you look what lies beneath. He’s trying to resurrect the Civil War era: A country split down the middle over race. Comparing himself to Lincoln. Biden promises to defeat a racist band of traitors and save the union by ending this uncivil war stoked by lies. Kind of a stretch, don’t you think?”
“The country in 2021 isn’t divided by race. Race wasn’t a top issue for voters. it was jobs, virus, public safety, and healthcare. Falsely framing half the country as racist leads me to believe Joe has no interest in uniting the country. He plans on dividing and conquering by playing the race card. His call to unity is a call to unite against the populist right.
“The left-wing is out for blood. Shots have been fired in the cancel-culture war. And now moves are being made to let loose the national security state against innocent Americans.”

Guilt by association, collective guilty, whatever term applies, was never part of the American tradition of free speech and freedom of association, Watters recalled.
“We saw them use the national security state against the Trump campaign. And now they’re itching to turn it against all Trump voters. Two hundred criminals entered the Capitol building out of 75 million Trump voters. That’s 0.0002 percent of you. This doesn’t make Trump voters an accessory to a crime or part of a seditious conspiracy,” Watters continued.
“Remember during the War on Terror, the Democrats desperately stuck up for the millions of innocent Muslims who never had anything do with jihad? So why aren’t they sticking up for millions of innocent Trump supporters. Because they need to intimidate you into silence and split the Republican base. That’s the key component of the Biden protection plan,” Watters insisted.
What he was also getting to is that the liberals in and out government, along with the media industry, labeled summer-long riots that swept across the country as mostly peaceful protests while characterizing the inexcusable riot at the U.S. Capitol perpetrated by a fringe group of lawbreakers among thousands of mostly peaceful rally attendees an insurrection.
“Joe is just a lucky guy who was swept into office by an act of God; a once-in-a-hundred-year pandemic, not to mention help from Big Media, Big Tech and a record flood of mail ballots,” Waters observed.
The Democrats and their media backers have created a fundamentally false picture of the pro-Trump cohort, Sundance at the Conservative Treehouse explained:
“The MAGA coalition is the most diverse, widest and deepest part of the entire American electorate. President Trump’s army consists of every creed, color, race, gender, ethnicity and orientation. It is a truly color-blind coalition of middle America patriots and middle-class voters that cuts through the political special interest groups.”
