Joe Biden isn’t even sworn in yet, and power-hungry Democrats have already revealed their inherent contempt for America and reverting to the Obama playbook, Fox News Channel host Laura Ingraham declared in her opening Ingraham Angle monologue on Tuesday night.
That includes, she asserted, hysterically seizing on the universally condemned January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol to turn D.C. and other cities into “armed military fortresses.” In so doing, the left has branded millions of peaceful Trump supporters as domestic extremists to enable the military and the intelligence agencies to target people for their political beliefs in an anti-free-speech ideological purge.
With the FBI somehow vetting 25,000 National Guard troops who have been deployed to Washington for the inauguration, which resulted so far in just 12 of them being removed for “vague indications,” Ingraham gave a preview of things to come from an American government that she considers “anti-American,” including a Defense Department that has vowed to root out far-right extremism in the ranks in the monologue that is embedded below in two parts:
“The Democrats are in a mood for another witch hunt, and the Pentagon is happy to oblige. They would rather help the left turn the military into a PC patrol to be used against fellow Americans rather than defend the country from China and other external threats. Of course, we know the Democrats aren’t interested in standing up to China,” Ingraham contended.
“They fear the GOP far more than they fear the CCP. And so they’ll happily destroy the military in hopes of finding anyone who ever sent an email they don’t like. All in the name of crushing their domestic enemies and increasing their own grip on centralized power.”
Highlighting that the nominee for DHS secretary testified about tackling domestic extremism, Ingraham insisted that he’s not referring to Antifa, “he’s talking about you. So much for unity.”
Ingraham then provided some advice for Republican elected officials:
“First, no governor, and certainly no Republican governor, should put their National Guard in a situation where their volunteers are going to be vetted by the same conspiracy-minded loons at the FBI that gave us people like Jim Comey.
“Second, Republicans on the Hill have to look long and hard at the budget for the Pentagon and the Intel community. We’re spending a fortune, one that frankly we can’t afford anymore, on agencies that are supposed to protect us from external threats like China. We absolutely cannot allow the Democrats to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on what, in effect, would become a massive, domestic spying apparatus turned on the American people.”

Unfortunately, Ingraham is not merely engaging in conjecture. Just the other day, for example, unhinged Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen slandered the National Guard by ridiculously claiming that members posed a threat to Biden because most of them presumably voted for Donald Trump.
