There are few, if any actions that can be taken by Congress “as somber, as serious, as important as the impeachment of the president of the United States of America.”
That’s according to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, but don’t take his word for it, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi struck a somber tone when she announced the Democrats’ first sham impeachment of President Trump: “The House has acted on a very sad day to protect the constitution of the United States.”
You may recall that Pelosi shot her caucus in the evil eye when they began cheering in the House chamber, which brings us to the recent actions of Sen. Kamala Harris — yes, the California Democrat soon to become Joe Biden’s number two has yet to resign the seat.
A TikTok video showing Harris in her sock features Meena Harris giving her aunt a peach-flavored mint. “Auntie. I got you a gift. Im-peach-mints,” she said, as Kamala Harris looked on cross-legged in a chair.

The soon to be vice president burst out in laughter at the inappropriate joke, though we should be grateful that the clip was cut at that point, sparing the nation a hideous cackle that makes Hillary Clinton endearing.

And while Vice President Mike Pence never realized the adoration Harris enjoys — being a white Christian male is not all that popular in post-Obama America — the fact that Democrats rushed to impeach Trump a second time in a matter of a week, making a mockery of the process of removing a president, there’s little humor to be found.
Further cheapening the impeachment process, after the Democrats’ hurried political maneuver to impeach President Trump for inciting violence the day a small number of protesters broke away from a rally to storm the U.S. Capitol, there have been reports that the FBI has uncovered evidence that the assault was planned well in advance.
Before the rally, where the president addressed the hundred thousand-plus crowd, which is allegedly what prompted Pelosi and Co. to act.
The idea of a politician having so little regard for the importance of an action seen as the most divisive Congress can take being one heartbeat away — a 78-year-old heart at that — from the Oval Office is a scary concept.
But for Gen Z, the important thing here are the blue and white socks being worn by Harris, who got her start in politics after an affair with a man 30 years her senior — as a young San Francisco prosecutor, she engaged in a sexual relationship with then 60-year-old Mayor Willie Brown, who gave her political career a boost.

The official Instagram account for The Oprah Magazine responded to the ill-suited clip to praise Meena Harris: “You’re going to give us all the content we deserve for the next four years 😂😂😂.”
