Unity and healing? Account for presidential pets shares photo of dogs shredding Trump chew toy

The decidedly pro-Biden media celebrated the fact that if their guy does make it to the Oval Office, and with the clock running out on President Trump, that likelihood looks more and more promising, there will be dogs in the White House again.

Named Major and Champ, Biden’s pets have their own social media fan accounts, to include a fan Twitter account titled The Oval Pawffice, described as the “Pawfficial Office of #DOTUS & #COTUS” — the family also has a cat.

Sorely misplaced humor in the play on terminology aside, the account betrayed Biden’s message of “unity” when it tweeted photographs of dogs playing with a chew toy in the image of President Donald Trump — a tweet that included the hashtags: #ByeDon #YoureFired #DOTUS.

One America News Network’s Jack Posobiec responded to the image in a tweet: “Joe Biden’s dogs tearing up a chew toy of President Trump, posted online to promote the Unity and the Healing.”

In a follow-up tweet, Posobiec added: “Imagine how the media would react if one of the Trump did this with Biden.”

Of course, we know what that reaction would be, it would dominate the news cycle for  days, culminating in Democrats calling for congressional hearings – the photos are not verified by BPR as Biden’s dogs, but they do portray how those behind the fan page feel about the president and Biden’s calls to “come together.” The person reported as having taken the snaps is @NaomiBiden.

As for dogs in the White House, the media plays up this angle primarily to demean Trump for not having a pet dog.

But in Biden’s case, we’re not talking about run of the mill dogs. If 47 years on the public teat has taught the Democratic politician anything it would be that imaging matters and the two German shepherds acquired two years ago are rescue dogs — the first to occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, according to media reports.

Another first for a potential Biden administration, along with Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., being the first woman of color as vice president.

And make no mistake, The Oval Pawffice Twitter account has no shame in its game.

When a social media user pointed out that the photographs were “extremely tacky,” the (college intern?) running the account countered “tacky or not, at least we’re not pawrganizing a coup d’état.”

This being how the left characterizes exercising your legal rights to ensure election integrity in a presidential election marred by widespread concerns of voter fraud.

In responding to a fan sharing a video of their pet dog chewing on a Trump doll, the account replied: “Pawhahaaa, we love this!”

Social media users were not fooled though, as they understand that the photos are a much more accurate take on how the left really feels about Trump and his 74 million supporters.

Here’s a sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
