Fed up with politicians in his state infringing on the freedom of residents, actor Rob Schneider took to social media Friday to urge Californians to recall Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The governor recently enacted stay-at-home orders in some areas of California and issued strict guidelines in response to a surge in the coronavirus, to include shutting down outdoor dining — a move that drew considerable fire from business owners struggling to stay afloat.
Schneider requested that like-minded people “help send a message to other despot, hypocritical leaders… that we will kick your *ss out of office.”
“It’s possible now to recall CaGov @GavinNewsom,” Schneider tweeted. “Help send a message to other despot, hypocritical leaders that when you step on our liberties, we will kick your ass out of office &you’ll have to learn what’s it’s like to actually work for a living.”

Perish the thought that sanctimonious politicians may have to “actually work for a living.”
Gavin brought an avalanche of criticism down on himself last month when a photo surfaced of him attending an intimate dinner party at the luxurious French Laundry restaurant in Napa wine country to celebrate the birthday of a well-known lobbyist.
His appearance violated strict COVID-19 protocols he set forth for the state.
EXCLUSIVE: We’ve obtained photos of Governor Gavin Newsom at the Napa dinner party he’s in hot water over. The photos call into question just how outdoors the dinner was. A witness who took photos tells us his group was so loud, the sliding doors had to be closed. 10pm on @FOXLA pic.twitter.com/gtOVEwa864

“I made a bad mistake,” Newsom said at the time. “Instead of sitting down I should have stood up and walked back and got in my car and drove to my house.”
Schneider mocked Newsom over that judgement failure last week while responding to the new sat-at-home orders.
“I’m making a list of people who could care less about following Gavin Newsom’s stay at home order, so far I have: 1. Gavin Newsom,” he tweeted, along with a photo of the infamous dinner.

I remember the Gray Davis recall. Davis was guilty of j-walking in a ghost town compared to what Nancy Peloci’s nephew has done to the state and by extension the country.
