Who knew jolly Ol’ Saint Nick was such a raging liberal!?
A shopping mall Santa sent a kid away in tears when he asked for a Nerf gun, telling the child in no uncertain terms there will be “no guns” coming from him — the fact that this Santa wannabe was so direct and unapologetic with the child being the best sign that he was seriously miscast.
The shy boy was already apprehensive about a recent visit to Harlem Irving Plaza in Norridge, Ill., to meet with Santa, and his fears proved to be well-founded in this case.
“Nope. No guns,” Santa declared, when the boy told him what he wants. “Nope. Not even a Nerf gun. Nope. If your dad wants to get you one that’s fine, but I can’t bring it to you.”

How gracious of him to grant his blessing to the boy’s father gifting what he wants.
“What else would you like? Lots of other toys. Legos. There’s bicycles. There’s cars and trucks. What do you think?” Santa said.
Even though he asked the boy what else he wants, the stunned tike was still processing the stern rejection of what was clearly his most sought after present. His mother could sense his unease and eventually stepped in as the boy broke down in tears.
The bullying liberal Santa had no words of comfort as the heartbroken boy sobbed uncontrollably, other than to say, “Don’t cry.”
The boy’s mother, Sabella DeCarlo, ripped the mall Santa on Facebook, complaining that the man let “his own personal beliefs” steal her son’s “Christmas magic.”
‘My poor baby,” DeCarlo wrote on Facebook, while sharing the video seen above.
“This was the first year Michael was excited to go see Santa,” she continued. “It was supposed to be magical but instead I had to watch my sweet little boy fight back tears because Santa told him No because of his own personal beliefs.”
“‘I had to think fast and explain to him that this Santa was just a helper and not the real guy,” the caring mother further explained.
And make no mistake, Michael will get his Nerf gun.
“I just wanted to console my baby and get him out of there, flipping out on Santa would have only made it worse,” DeCarlo concluded. “His Elfie is going to bring him a Nerf gun directly from the North Pole, from the real Santa, tonight.”
Turns out, a “real” Santa delivered one to Michael’s door and watched the excited boy open it.
“This is crazy!” Michael said as he ripped the box open.

It appears the mall Santa was fired, according to an online post, and that the family is receiving an arsenal of Nerf guns after the video above went viral — they said they’ll distribute the largess to children in need.
And they all lived happily ever after.
