Considering that Big Tech giants Facebook and Twitter fall back on left-leaning “fact-checkers” to determine what is and is not true as they go about their censorship, it’s safe to suggest that the fact-checking industry is as emboldened as ever.
But PolitiFact took things to a whole other level Saturday night when they decided to “fact check” President Trump during a rally in Valdosta, Georgia.
It was almost as PolitiFact left a left-wing college intern in control of the switches, as they fact-checked President Trump’s claim that Georgia’s Democratic Senate run-off candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are “extreme far-left candidates.”
President Trump traveled to Georgia to encourage Republican voters to turn out for next month’s run-off election and he called Ossoff and Warnock “radical,” saying they are “the most extreme far-left candidates in the history of our country,” earning a “Pants on Fire” rating from PolitiFact:
In Valdosta, Trump said the GOP Senators are running against “radical Ossoff and Raphael Warnock” and “they’re the most extreme far-left candidates in the history of our country.” Pants on Fire! https://t.co/Og6jV9kVCV

But the Poynter Institute-owned liberal fact-checking site that began as a project of the Tampa Bay Times was just warming up as it’s clear that even though the Trump-hating media insists the president lost the 2020 election, legal challenges notwithstanding, it will spare him no quarters.
Hell, PolitiFact even fact-checked socialism — although it would appear that the real purpose behind their effort was to dismiss any notions of potential voting fraud in the state, which was one of a handful of battleground states Trump led in Election Night, only to later fall behind as counting went on and on.

With two seats in play, control of the U.S. Senate is at stake in Georgia, and should Democrats, who already control the House, take control of the Senate and the White House, should Joe Biden become president, there will be no checks on their power.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany stepped in to share some real facts about Warnock ignored by the liberal media:
Fake News “fact-checkers” at it again!
Radical Raphael Warnock
❌ called law enforcement “bullies…thugs…predators”
❌ hosted Fidel CASTRO at his church
❌ defended Jeremiah Wright, who said “GD America”
But apparently that’s not “far-left” to @PolitiFact

Almost comically, PolitiFact fact-checked incumbent David Purdue, R-Ga., calling Ossoff “a socialist,” this being in line with his assertion that the Democrat “will do and say anything that supports his radical socialist agenda.”
“What a phenomenal fact check,” tweeted NRSC senior advisor Matt Whitlock.
What a phenomenal fact check.
Claim: David Perdue says Jon Ossoff is a socialist
PolitiFact: “Even if Perdue’s evidence were accurate, it doesn’t square with what socialism is.”
Haha so.. he’s kind of a socialist? https://t.co/E10lJzY9UO

Lost in the mix apparently is that progressivism is steeped in Marxist values, not that the left, to include the corrupt media establishment, will ever admit as much.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
Did… did Warnock & Ossoff write this? https://t.co/sE0dB8f6bd

Hey @PolitiFact— you’re perpetuating misinformation about socialism. This definition is wrong and you ought to correct the record.
Socialism doesn’t promote equality; it’s the equitable sharing of misery.
Have you no staff with any proximity to its horrors? Shame on you. https://t.co/UaVNjDU7HZ

Insufferable people work at PolitiFact.

The media and those who control ‘fact checks’ (sometimes the same) are so bent left they think socialism is traditional liberalism. Wokestapo has no irony or history
