Incumbent Georgia Sen. David Perdue is hoping to win reelection in January by pursuing the Democrat Party’s most radical members to pave his path to success.

Speaking at a campaign stop Monday afternoon, he offered to “buy” a ticket for radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to travel to Georgia and campaign on behalf of his opponent, Jon Ossoff.

I’m going to buy her a ticket! I want her to come down to Georgia,” he said.

He reaffirmed this sentiment a day later on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” saying, “I want to buy her ticket. I want her to come.”

Why would he want such an influential figure in the Democrat Party to travel to his state and interfere in his reelection?

Because he recognizes that AOC’s unrestrained radicalism would fare poorly in a longtime Republican stronghold like Georgia that hasn’t had either a Democrat senator or a Democrat governor since the early 2000s.

Listen to his full Fox & Friends interview below:

“Buy her ticket to come to Georgia?” co-host Steve Doocy asked in shock after Perdue offered to buy AOC a ticket to travel to Georgia to campaign on behalf of Ossoff.

“Absolutely,” the senator promptly replied. “What she says is just profound. She says, look, we have to win those two seats in Georgia because we do not want to negotiate. She wants the Green New Deal without compromise.”

“That gave us the Affordable Care Act, Dodd Frank, the CFPB, the Great Society, the New Deal. I could go on back 100 years. When the Democrats have total control, which is what they want, you’ll end up with massive sweeping changes in America that you you would never be able to do with a bipartisan requirement.”

Especially so now, given how radical the Democrats have become.

“They want illegal immigrants to vote. They do want to defund the police while we should be defending our police. They want to take away our private health insurance. They want the Green New Deal, and they want to stack the court. I could go on and on for an hour on this. They’re radical changes,” he said of the far-left ambitions.

Ocasio-Cortez is in fact the writer of the Green New Deal, a radical proposal that ostensibly seeks to delay the effects of climate change by affectively rolling the U.S. economy back to the Middle Ages.

The “deal” calls for essentially redesigning America from top to bottom and creating a utopia where everybody is guaranteed a job (assuming they want one), in addition to free education, free healthcare, free housing, etc.

The radical plan also calls for eliminating combustion-engine vehicles (i.e., cars), airplanes, fossil fuel energy, nuclear energy, farting cows, meat, and everything else that makes America great.

All of this could come to fruition if both Perdue and incumbent Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler lose their seats in January.

“I mean, this is the last line of defense.  … [Senate Democrat leader Chuck] Schumer has said it very plainly over the last two years and certainly this year. He didn’t work this hard to become the majority leader to not get everything done that he wants,” Perdue noted.

“And to do that, he is willing to change the voting rules to get rid of the filibuster rules so he can do everything with 51 votes. If he wins these two seats in Georgia, it will be 50/50. If they continue and Biden ends up being the president, then the vice president would be the tiebreaker and they could do anything they want.”

Including implementing the Green New Deal.

The good news is that AOC has already involved herself in Georgia’s elections:

This bodes well for Republicans because it makes it easier for them to convey the gravity of January’s elections.

Like Florida Sen. Rick Scott noted in a tweet earlier this month, “The Radical Left and the Socialists want to take Georgia so they can enact their radical agenda.”

Correct.

What Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t understand is that while she boasts a positive favorability rating in her far-left district, she boasts a horrible one everywhere else.

Polling data from 2019 showed that neither she nor her peers in the radical “Squad” boasted a “Very favorable” rating higher than 17 percent.

It’s unclear how much lower their favorability ratings have since slipped.
