For the past week or so, there have been reports — rumors, actually — that a server linked to allegations by President Donald Trump’s campaign of widespread electronic vote fraud was seized at an undisclosed location in Germany.

According to a Newsmax TV correspondent, that may no longer be a rumor. But first, some history regarding the initial claim.

Earlier this month, as the president’s legal team said they were receiving an influx of witness testimony and other evidence they said supported their allegations of massive vote fraud and election irregularities involving, among other things, electronic voting software used by Dominion Voting Systems, Rep. Louie Gohmert said he had heard that “U.S. Army forces” seized servers in Germany belonging to Spanish tech firm Scytl, which he also said was going through bankruptcy.

Several news outlets fact-checked Gohmert’s claim, all of them rating it “false.”

The Associated Press, one of the outlets, reported that both U.S. Army officials and spokespersons from Scytl, which is based in Barcelona, denied the reports, with the tech company claiming it did not maintain servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and did not tabulate U.S. votes.

However, during last week’s stunner press conference in which Trump campaign attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell elaborated on their allegations, Powell was asked by Newsmax TV reporter Emerald Robinson about the Germany-based server.

“There were reports that a piece of hardware possibly a server was picked up in Germany. Is that true and is it related to this?” Robinson asked on Thursday.

“That is true,” Powell responded. “It is somehow related to this. But I do not know if good guys got it or bad guys got it.”

She wrote in a follow-up that Powell again confirmed a server had been recovered in Germany.

Also Thursday, Robinson posted a tweet pushing back on the Scytl fact-checks by the AP and other outlets.

“According to AP/NYT/Reuters/USAToday: “Scytl does not have offices or servers in Frankfurt, Germany.” The problem is that Scytl’s own PR kits mention ‘an emergency back-up center in Frankfurt.’ Where does Scytl’s website IP address take you? Frankfurt, Germany,” she wrote.

She added: “Here’s the 2020 election:

“The vote count STOPPED on election night.

“The DoD had a bankrupt company in Spain handle 78 million votes. The votes might have been on a server in Frankfurt.

“The election hardware/software companies are shell companies.

“See where this is going?”

On Saturday, Robinson said a separate “national security source” confirmed Powell’s earlier claim regarding the server.

“BREAKING: a national security source confirms to me that ‘a piece of hardware has been secured’ from Germany,” she reported on Twitter, though it’s unclear at this point who is actually in possession of it and what it contains.

During Thursday’s press conference, both Giuliani and Powell claimed that millions of votes cast in the U.S. on Election Day were actually tabulated in other countries, though they have not yet made public evidence substantiating those allegations.
