Obnoxious BBC reporter humiliated: ‘Your country’s opinion stopped mattering in our country in 1776’

One of the speakers at the massive Washington, D.C. rally supporting President Trump over the weekend began a BBC interview with a fiery shot at their “fake news.”

Alex Bruesewitz, co-founder and CEO of X Strategies, is a vocal Trump supporter who may have caught the BBC interviewer off guard with a no-nonsense kickoff to an appearance following Saturday’s event. The interview continued from the fiery start with Bruesewitz repeatedly countering the BBC talking head’s claims about the U.S. election.

“I’m sure you accepted Donald Trump’s election victory as soon as organizations called it in 2016, I’m wondering why you won’t do the same thing for Joe Biden?” the BBC World News interviewer asked.

“Well, look, thank you for having me on, and I just want to make one thing very clear,” Bruesewitz began. ‘Your country’s opinion stopped mattering in our country in 1776.”

“So when you’re putting this fake news on your network saying that there are ‘unsubstantiated claims’ that’s completely out of line and you should be ashamed of yourself as a network,” he added.

“Let’s slow down,” the interviewer interjected, repeating claims made by officials stating that the election was not rigged and there was no evidence of fraud.

When Bruesewitz dismissed the comments as being from low-level staffers, the BBC host cut him off to say “I’m talking now,” and informed him that the quote was from a statement put out by a Department of Homeland Security agency.

“The evidence is everywhere,” Bruesewitz claimed. “You can’t deny the fact that what’s happening with Dominion Software should worry every person across the world. If it happens in America, the most successful country in the history of the world, it can happen in any country.”

The BBC host jumped in with a “fact-check” on his claims about the company that sells electronic voting hardware and software, including voting machines.

Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani alleged the many issues with Dominion during an appearance on Fox News, telling host Maria Bartiromo that it’s a company that’s “not American, a company that’s foreign, a company that has close, close ties with Venezuela and therefore China, and uses Venezuela’s company software that’s been used to steal elections in other countries.” None of those allegations have been verified.

Bruesewitz continued to push back even as the BBC host repeatedly interrupted him.

“Look, you in the media across the pond and here in the U.S., for four years you guys called Donald J. Trump an illegitimate president…and it’s been 12 days, let us do our process,” he said, repeating his remarks about 1776.

The interviewer gave a smug response, telling his guest that “you did say that before, we did hear you and now we’d like to get on with the interview. Is that okay?”

But things only got worse as he continued to press Bruesewitz about accepting the results of an election, despite it not being certified and even as Trump has not conceded as legal challenges continue to play out.

“I will ALWAYS fight for @realDonaldTrump and for FREE & FAIR elections,” Bruesewitz wrote on Twitter where he posted the video clip.

During Saturday’s rally, he reminded the “fake news media” that they do not decide presidential elections and even led chants of “CNN sucks” and “Fox News sucks.”

The BBC interview caught the attention of many Twitter users who were more than impressed by Bruesewitz.
