Fox News’ Tucker Carlson said Thursday during his opening monologue that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden appears to be stocking his potential administration with corporate figures, which he believes will be harmful to domestic economic policy and the country in general.

After pointing out that Biden has not made himself available to the media very often since the election, Carlson said: “So, what exactly is going on behind this news blackout veiling Joe Biden from public view? Well, pretty much exactly what you expect is happening.”

“Over at the newly official office of the President-elect, they are busy rewarding the forces of repression that made these election results possible. Guess who is first in line?” Carlson continued.

“Oh, you guessed it, the tech monopolies. They did their job. They shut down one side, protected the other, and now it’s time for the reward. And here’s the reward.”

Carlson said that one of Biden’s first moves was to appoint Ron Klain, who previously worked for the former vice president, as his chief of staff. He went on to say that the narrative is Klain got the job because he’s a long-time associate.

“But that’s not why he got the job. Ron Klain is also a lobbyist for big tech,” Carlson said. “Four years ago, he joined the executive council of Silicon Valley’s lobbying arm in Washington. Oh, starting to make sense.”

The host then pointed out that Klain was critical of the Obama administration’s response to the swine flu in 2009 and that he did not support President Donald Trump’s decision to ban travel from China earlier this year as the pandemic spread.

Carlson went on to say that Klain was also very deferential to China.

“But again, it doesn’t matter whether Ron Klain was right about how to handle the coronavirus. What matters is that Ron Klain is on the right side of Silicon Valley,” the host said.

“As we told you before if you want to understand what is happening now, keep in mind, this is not an incoming presidential administration. No, this is a corporate takeover of the country,” he said. “They paid for the campaign. They plan to assert full control.”

The prime-time Fox host said that so far, Biden’s transition advisers include a who’s who of corporate executives — from Uber, Airbnb, Capital One, Amazon, the Chan-Zuckerberg Foundation, and a nonprofit organization run by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

“According to an analysis by The Wall Street Journal, at least 40 members of the Biden transition teams announced earlier this week were or are registered lobbyists. Oh,” Carlson continued.

Circling back to China, Carlson said Beijing appears to be happy with a potential Biden presidency, noting that Chinese financial markets rose after he was declared president-elect by the media after initially falling on initial reports Trump was ahead in key states.

“The Chinese government is happy now. Should you be happy? Let’s see,” said Carlson.

“Joe Biden has announced that as President, he will not deport a single illegal alien from this country in the first hundred days. It doesn’t matter who they are, it doesn’t matter what they’ve done. It doesn’t matter whether they were convicted or not. That would include rapists and murderers. Literally, they could all stay here,” he added.

“Now, that’s great news if you’re Silicon Valley. They’ve pushed for this. The tech companies wanted this because they rely on cheap labor. But for the rest of us, what’s the upside exactly?”

He went on to speculate that if Democrats do wind up with full control of Congress and the White House — which will require winning both U.S. Senate run-off races in Georgia in early January — Biden will sign legislation granting a “pathway to citizenship” for the millions of illegal aliens in the country.

“Who is for this stuff?” Carlson asked. “Well, America’s unhappy rich ladies. They’re the ones who got Biden elected and they love this stuff. It’s no cost to them. It makes them feel virtuous, so they’re going to get it. They are Joe Biden’s base. They’re in control now.”
