First Lady Melania Trump punched a hole in CNN’s anonymous gossip allegedly coming from inside the White House.
She responded with a statement that knocked the legs out from under a CNN report claiming she is telling her husband, President Donald Trump, that the “time has come” for him to accept defeat and concede the election to Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
CNN reported on Sunday that the first lady has “joined the growing chorus of President Trump’s inner circle” advising him to give up and accept a loss, despite ongoing vote counting and pending legal challenges to the questionable results in several key states.
“Though she has not publicly commented on the election, privately Melania Trump has weighed in with her opinion,” CNN’s Kevin Bohn reported, citing an unnamed source as usual who said the first lady “has offered it, as she often does.”
Soon after CNN’s claim, the first lady herself had something to say.
“The American people deserve fair elections. Every legal – not illegal – vote should be counted. We must protect our democracy with complete transparency,” she tweeted, echoing her husband’s words.

CNN’s gossip update even claimed that Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has “approached” the president about “conceding the election.”
Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller shot that story full of holes, as actor Robert Davi noted in a call to “dispel” the rumors.
Thank you Jason many needed to hear this as it was going on Internet that JARED @jaredkushner was advising the opposite – SO GLAD this was NOT SO – now retweet AND DISPEL RUMOURS https://t.co/ysdlcjT6XK

“Some things never change,” Miller wrote in another tweet calling out CNN’s “fake news story.”

Actor Nick Searcy was among many voices slamming CNN’s claims about the first lady.

“These @cnn morons think you’re a moron too,” the actor noted in another tweet on the CNN report.

Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman added another unsubstantiated claim, telling The Mail on Sunday that the first lady is “counting every minute” until Trump is out of the White House so she can file for divorce.
Amid the noisy clatter from Trump-haters and the liberal media propping up Biden as the 2020 winner, Twitter users who could see past the narrative unloaded on CNN.

How could they possibly know this? Taking gossip for truth or just making stuff up? Epic fail #9834256789734666.

The leftist controlled media thinks it can manufacture stories so the right will collectively concede, ending the fight for Trump. We’re not as gullible and overall as stupid as the left. We. Will. Not. Concede. We will continue to fight for the truth.
