The mainstream media are demanding that President Trump quickly concede, despite multiple whistleblower allegations that Democrats committed mass election fraud to steal the election for Joe Biden. In contrast, they championed former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams when she refused to concede, long after her 2018 loss.

“Expectations are so low for the mainstream liberal media, that consistency in treatment of Democrats and Republicans is a bridge too far,” Cornell Law professor William Jacobson told Fox News. “Stacey Abrams’ fictional claims that she lost due to ‘voter suppression’ [were] amplified, not critically examined.”

Conservative strategist Chris Barron said President Trump should challenge the dubious “election results” in the light of the alarming claims by multiple poll watchers that Democrats committed voter fraud in key swing states.

Barron said the media will not be fair to Trump, even though they gleefully lionized Democrats Stacey Abrams and Al Gore when they challenged their election results.

“Like Stacey Abrams and Al Gore, Donald Trump should exercise his legal right to challenge the vote count,” Barron told Fox News. “The media gleefully applauded Abrams and Gore’s effort. I won’t hold my breath waiting for them to treat President Trump in the same manner.”

Indeed, the media lionized Abrams for her nonstop whining about her election outcome, even though no allegations of election fraud were made.

At the time, Abrams blamed “voter suppression” for her loss, but there were no allegations or evidence that votes were counted in secret or manufactured. This is something the Trump campaign has alleged, citing whistleblower complaints and alarming video evidence of shocking irregularities.

NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck said nobody should expect the media to treat President Trump fairly, because they weren’t objective during the past four years, when they relentlessly smeared Trump with baseless accusations that were later debunked.

“It was still a gross denigration of our Democratic norms to even still maintain that [Abrams] should be the Peach State’s rightful governor,” Houck said.

Houck said it was “amazing to see the liberal media fawn over Stacey Abrams,” as contrasted with how disdainfully they’re shrugging off President Trump’s claims of voter fraud despite videos and other evidence his team have presented.

“Whether it’s CNN or the Washington Post, she’s welcomed as a conquering hero, while any and all discussions or curiosity about [the presidential election’s] transparency are treated like some obscene gesture that’ll lead to an FCC fine,” Houck said. “When you have a media culture where…actual, dissenting views are treated as beyond the pale, you have a sad commentary on how the liberal media view the First-Amendment rights of people other than themselves.”

President Trump and many of his supporters have refused to back down in the face of the left-wing media hypocrisy.

“Beginning Monday [Nov. 9], our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated,” Trump said in a statement. “The American people are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all LEGAL ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots.”

The President added: “It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted, even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room – and then fight in court to block their access.”
