As might be expected, the schadenfreude on display on the left following the media’s rushed call of the 2020 election on behalf of Democratic nominee Joe Biden rivals the intensity of their hatred of President Donald Trump.

Convinced that the American people are stupid and the people, as a whole, only too happy to prove them right, the same Democrats who spent the last four years calling Trump supporters Nazis are now calling for unity amid the belief that Biden will soon be president.

While Biden’s national unity appeal at least comes across as sincere — 47 years in politics tends to come with a certain polish — former first lady Michelle Obama led a contingency that appears to be incapable of rising above the darkness in their hearts.

Ignoring the fact that the election is in flux, with a number of pending legal actions yet to be decided, Obama offered her congratulations to Biden and running mate Sen. Kamala Harris and echoed the call for unity — while reminding the nation “that tens of millions of people voted for the status quo, even when it meant supporting lies, hate, chaos, and division.”

Harris echoed that sentiment when she joined with Biden in a hurried, potentially premature attempt to assume the role of the next administration by addressing the nation Saturday night.

“You chose hope and unity, decency, science, and yes, truth. You chose Joe Biden as the next president of the United States of America,” Harris said.

The underlying message impossible to miss being that Trump voters chose division, lies and indecency.

The former first lady who admitted that she first became proud of America when her husband was elected president — the same husband who appeared to oversee the weaponization of America’s intelligence apparatus to go after Donald Trump — suggested Biden and Co. will “restore some dignity, competence, and heart at the White House.”

In what proves to be an Obama trademark, Mrs. Obama posted a long-winded series of tweets lecturing Democrats that Biden’s win was “just a beginning. It’s a first step.”

She proceeded to denigrate millions of Trump supporters before having the audacity to speak of connecting on “what unites us.”

Buoyed by the Democratic Party’s success of flooding the playing field with millions of unsolicited mail-in ballots, which set the stage for unprecedented opportunities for fraud, and amid a record turnout, Obama concluded by calling for making it even “easier” to cast a ballot.

She also highlighted the upcoming Senate run-off elections in Georgia, which will be critical in determining the balance of the upper chamber, telling followers they have to “stay engaged” and “vote in even greater numbers.”

Given the party’s success in acquiring the needed votes to overtake Trump in several contested states, the odds are in their favor to produce the numbers needed to acquire both seats — with control of both chambers of Congress and the White House, the hard-left may finally achieve its goal of fundamentally changing America forever.

Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate and media favorite Stacey Abrams is already making an appeal to fellow Democrats to request mail-in ballots.

With millions of Americans already feeling victimized, the culprits appear to be about to add insult to injury, returning to the scene of the crime to take the one last thing of value left behind.
