Newsmax anchor Greg Kelly maintains that his former employer, the “fair and balanced” Fox News Channel, as well as other corporate media outlets, are gaslighting America by prematurely designating Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election. In so doing, they are participating in a third coup attempt against President Donald Trump, he insisted.
Remotely joining colleague Rob Schmidt on a Saturday night broadcast, Kelly weighed in this apparent media malpractice, if not a form of fake news.
“Everything you’re seeing tonight is an illusion. There is no president-elect. Even the term ‘president-elect’ used right now is a media fabrication. We don’t have a president-elect until the electors come and actually elect a president and that happens sometime next month,” Kelly declared.
“This is still in dispute…Constitutionally though nothing significant has actually happened…this is yet a third coup attempt. We had Russia, we had the impeachment, and now we have this nonsense, which is so incredibly dishonest…[the media] has squandered all their credibility. We should not listen to them; we need to resist…This is not over, not by a long shot,” Greg Kelly concluded.
Newsmax is apparently the only major media network that has not given the election to Biden.

There is speculation in some quarters that the big news outlets rushed to call the election for Biden as a way to deflect from Rudy Giuliani’s press conference in Philadelphia about voter fraud, which occurred about the same time.
Kelly initially came on Schmidt’s show to react to the development that Fox News had yanked Justice with Judge Jeanine off the air on Saturday purportedly because host Jeanine Pirro was going to discuss alleged fraud in the voting procedures.
“Fox News has lost, in my opinion, all legitimacy. Fox News was founded as an alternative to the mainstream media. The idea that the center of the country is not Manhattan. The center of the country is not the Beltway. The center of the country is the country. It was found by Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch with that understanding,” Kelly asserted.
“And now it appears to me that Fox News is more concerned what The New York Times writes about them than what the audience thinks about them. They have lost their audience; they have lost their way.”
Kelly said he would applaud Jeanine Pirro if she would quit her Fox News job under the circumstances.
Per Fox News, Judge Jeanine’s program and others were preempted for special election coverage and will be back on the air next Saturday at 9PM.
A cursory look at social media suggests widespread dissatisfaction with FNC’s election coverage from its loyal, or formerly loyal, viewers.
I hope she quits and goes to newsmax. Fox is done. Trump is still my President

NewsMax it’s time to pick up Hannity, Tucker, Jesse, Gutfeld and the Judge. Ratings will go thru the roof.

Thank You Greg Kelly for “saying it like it is”. Fox lost me even before election night. Lost me during the first debate when they let Chris Wallace make a fool of himself!!
Still some good people over there. Hope they come to NewsMax!— Kool_Grammy (@TahoLady) November 8, 2020
This is really sad. I tuned to Fox News because it was my last place to go where I felt I could trust the news. Not no more. Bye bye Fox. Judge Pirro take Tucker, Hannity and Ingraham and start new News Network. There’s 70 million viewers waiting.

Fox News is toast. Tucker will be the only show that moves forward with reasonable ratings.

If the current trend in its content continues, Fox could lose a huge amount of market share similar to how online users have abandoned the Drudge Report after it went ostensibly left. Newsmax and OAN could be the beneficiaries.
There is also repeated chatter that a Trump TV network could be on the horizon.
In the meantime, prominent pundit Mike Cernovich advises Trump — while his legal team is challenging the results in court — to go back on the road and campaign for U.S. Senators Purdue and Loeffler, both of whom are headed to a January runoff in Georgia.
The Energy and Momentum are palpable. Trump needs to he in Georgia TONIGHT holding a rally for @KLoeffler, registering voters, and shoring up GOP Senate majority.
People want to see Trump, never been anything like this!
