The 2020 presidential election would not be complete without a cameo appearance by former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush.

Right on cue, Bush shared on Instagram a video he took of a Trump parade traveling through the Valley in Southern California — to say that he was astonished may be an understatement.

Noting that he was standing on Ventura Blvd., in Encino, Bush said “this is something I never thought I’d see.”

“It’s been going for a half-hour now, it’s a lot of cars,” he added. “I’m blown away by how long this rally is, it’s been going for a half an hour and there’s no sign of any kind of shortage here.”

Through the valley. 😳

“In the place where you’d think there’s nothing but wasted votes, right, because it’s heavily, heavily blue,” Bush continued. “But this is some scene, man.”

Speaking of scenes, Bush emerged onto the scene of the 2016 election as part of an “October surprise,” when a video surfaced of a crude conversation Trump had with him about sexual conquests.

Then-candidate Trump would dismiss it as “locker-room banter,” while offering an apology.

“This was locker-room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Trump said in a statement. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Bush attributed his part to being young and dumb.

“Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry,” he said in a statement released by NBC Universal.

The 2020 presidential election has been marked by countless Trump vehicle parades, which may by attributed to the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

In city after city, thousands of Trump supporters take to the vehicles to proudly show their support for the president, a phenomenon that even plays out on the waterways, as pro-Trump boat parades have been just as popular.

Ivanka Trump tweeted that “Trump parades & rallies have taken over the USA! … The MAGA movement is MASSIVE and it is unstoppable!”

As for California, all the momentum is clearly behind Trump as Americans go to the polls Tuesday and there has been some speculation among Trump supporters that he may actually carry the state — barring a miracle, he likely will not.

Count former MLB star Aubrey Huff among those who believe that it’s possible.

Hillary Clinton carried California 61.73 – 31.62 over Trump in 2016 and 1988 was the last time a Republican candidate won the state, with George W. Bush besting Michael Dukakis 51.13 – 47.56.

Polling shows Democratic nominee Joe Biden up by as much as 26% in the state, if not more, so it would be a remarkable feat if Trump carried California. it would also signal a rout of historic proportions.
