CNN host Chris Cuomo, perhaps America’s most arrogant mask-shamer, has reportedly been caught once again flouting face mask rules in New York City that his big brother and frequent TV guest, the Democrat governor, requires.
According to a report in the Page Six gossip section of the New York Post, Cuomo was allegedly observed at an exclusive Manhattan nightspot basking his celebrity status — without a mask or engaging in social distancing. The Cuomo Prime Time anchor is known, however, for repeatedly demanding that his viewers “wear the damn mask.”
“Spies spotted the CNN anchor hanging at a downtown private members club, hobnobbing without a mask and acting like he was the mayor of the joint. ‘He was not social distancing and was walking around indoors, shaking hands and greeting people without a mask. He was just hanging with Brooke Shields’ husband. It’s a double standard when his brother [Gov. Andrew Cuomo] is attacking the restaurant industry and implementing all these senseless rules,’ a source told Page Six,” the Post claimed.
Chris Cuomo appears to be a repeat offender when it comes to his apparent unwillingness to live by the rules that apply to everyone else in New York, rules that he has advocated. In that context, he fits the definition of a limousine liberal, someone who hypocritically espouses policies that apply to ordinary citizens and then insulates himself from those same policies.
In a segment last week, Tucker Carlson provided details of a letter purportedly sent to Cuomo from the management of the NYC apartment building where the self-important CNN journalist/bodybuilder resides. Based on the letter, Cuomo stands accused of “entering and exiting the building and riding the elevator without the required face coverings. Even though staff members have asked you to comply with this requirement, you have refused to do so,” in violation of the governor’s executive order.
Pointing out that Cuomo is putting everyone else on the premises at risk, the letters warns Cuomo that further noncompliance could result in a $500 fine.

The host of FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight described this story as “worth putting in the museum of hypocrisy, right next to Bernie Sanders’ private jet and the automatic weapons Mike Bloomberg’s bodyguards carry.”
Earlier this month, the relentlessly anti-Trump liberal lecturer, who again routinely presents himself to the CNN audience as a champion of masks, freaked out when the president removed his mask upon returning to the White House from Walter Reed Medical Center following successful treatment for COVID. He has also chided Trump generally for being insufficiently diligent in wearing a mask.
Chris Cuomo has previously been caught on camera running around maskless on Long Island while violating quarantine and apparently staging a triumphant emergence from his basement after recovering from COVID. More recently, he was reportedly photographed mask-free outside a crowded Long Island restaurant.
