A new campaign advertisement takes aim at Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in a satirical play on the hit 1980s movie “Weekend at Bernie’s.”

An actor portraying a seemingly lifeless Biden is carted around by aides in a nod to the original comedy film about two men who pretend their dead boss is still alive so they can enjoy his luxury home over a weekend stay. The ad, titled, “Weekend at Biden’s,” was released by a conservative PAC on the night of the final presidential debate.

“So let me get this straight. Less than a month to Election Day and this is our candidate?” A female “aide” asked in the video ad, which runs about one minute, as the Biden look-alike is retrieved from his basement.

“Yup,” replied the other aide played by Nick Ward, who created the ad with the “No to Joe PAC,” as the Biden character got prepped to head out. After blow-drying his hair and brushing his false teeth, the trio drive to a campaign stop.

“All we have to do is get him elected and we can do whatever we want,” the aide remarked in the car with the Biden figure repeatedly slumping to the side.

Once steadied at a podium, following some handwaving at supporters upon arrival, the Biden actor wearing dark sunglasses and a face mask, pitched forward, slamming his head on the wooden stand.

“This fall, get ready for a presidential candidate unlike any other,” a narrator said over the scenes.

Continuing the “Weekend at Bernie’s” spoof, “Biden” is then seen at an after-party before a meeting with foreign officials.

“Hunter still owes us,” one of the diplomats said, with a caption translating his words.

“How long do we have to keep this up?” the female aide asked at the end of the video as they loaded their boss into the back of a vehicle.

“November third,” the other aide replied.

“Maybe they should’ve stayed in the basement…,” the caption for the ad on YouTube read.

“Joe Biden, career politician, is propped up for the Presidential Debate, with strings attached! The radical left and Chinese Communist Party have their hooks into this Manchurian puppet. And the only way they’re going to survive the election is to make it look like Biden has!” the No To Joe PAC wrote. “Will they make it through Sleepy Joe’s cognitive decline? Or will America and Freedom persist in the face of the radical left, and new world order?”

Ward told Fox News that he is concerned about the harm “mean” attack ads cause by dividing the nation and said he hoped the former vice president could find the humor in the current satirical piece.

“I actually hope that Joe Biden sees this and laughs,” he said. “Sometimes things like humor allow you to look at aspects of yourself, or what you’re involved with, in a way that you weren’t willing to acknowledge before.”

Fox News reported that Twitter had flagged the video as sensitive content this week after Ward mentioned that he was worried the social media platform was suppressing the ad. But, on Friday, a Twitter spokesperson told Fox News Friday that the issue was resolved and was due to an error.

The video is being shared on Twitter and prompting many positive responses, especially from fans of the original film which starred Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman.
