The discredited Lincoln Project faces a potential lawsuit from President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, both of whom serve as his advisors.

The potential lawsuit pertains to defamatory billboards erected in Times Square that show Ivanka smiling as she gestures during coronavirus death toll numbers, and Kushner saying “[New Yorkers] are going to suffer, and that’s their problem.”

Everything about the billboards is a lie.

Look at the billboards below courtesy of a tweet from a leftist who appears to believe that telling blatant lies makes one noble …

What is the truth good for? Absolutely nothing, apparently …

Here’s a closer-up view of the billboards:

In a letter sent to the grifting members of the Lincoln Project this Friday, the couple’s attorney, Marc E. Kasowitz, slammed them for the “false, malicious and defamatory” billboards.

“Mr. Kushner never made any such statement. Ms. Trump never made any such gesture, and the Lincoln Project’s representations that they did are an outrageous and shameful libel. If these billboard ads are not immediately removed, we will sue you for what will doubtless be enormous compensatory and punitive damages,” Kasowitz wrote.

Members of the Lincoln Project shared a screenshot of the letter to Twitter and captioned it with the words, “Nuts!” They also warned that an official response would “be coming soon.”

In response, the left-wing political action committee’s groupies and sycophants — who have a history of falling for foreign propaganda — cheered and celebrated.

Look:

Having character requires telling the truth, but there was nothing truthful about the Lincoln Project’s ad.

The photo of Ivanka was plucked from the following selfie she’d tweeted in July that shows her gesturing toward a can of Goya beans:

The quote from Kushner meanwhile was plucked from a sketchy, anonymously sourced article published by Vanity fair, which doesn’t have a history of reliable reporting.

Published in September, the report cited anonymous sources who claimed to have attended a coronavirus-related White House meeting in March.

“What actually transpired in the room stunned a number of those in attendance. Vanity Fair has reconstructed the details of the meeting for the first time, based on recollections, notes, and calendar entries from three people who attended the meeting,” the notoriously left-wing, anti-Trump outlet reported.

According to these unnamed sources, during the meeting Kushner allegedly blamed New York’s lack of PPE on Gov. Andrew Cuomo and suggested that his constituents deserve “to suffer” because of their voting decision.

“Cuomo didn’t pound the phones hard enough to get PPE for his state…. His people are going to suffer and that’s their problem,” were his exact words, according to Vanity Fair’s unnamed sources.

Unlike the confirmed allegations surrounding Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s crack-smoking son, Hunter, the unconfirmed allegations against Kushner promptly went viral in the left-wing echo chamber of journalists and activists.

The Lincoln Project eventually responded to the couple’s threat late Friday with a statement in which the far-left group accused them of being “indignant” and vowed to teach them a “painful” lesson about the First Amendment.

Look:

“The level of indignant outrage Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump have shown towards The Lincoln Project for exposing their indifference for the more than 223,000 people who have lost their lives due to their reckless mismanagement of COVID-19 is comical,” the group’s members wrote.

“While we truly enjoy living rent free in their heads, their empty threats will not be taken any more seriously than we take Ivanka and Jared. It is unsurprising that an administration that has never had any regard or understanding of our Constitution would try to trample on our first amendment rights, but we fully intend on making this civics lesson as painful as possible.”

Notice how they failed to capitalize the First Amendment …

Also take note of the statements’ numerous lies, including the claim that the two have been indifferent toward the victims of the coronavirus. Ivanka’s own Twitter feed disproves this:

But again, what is the truth good for? Absolutely nothing, according to the Lincoln Project …
