Switzerland-based Noor bin Ladin, the niece of Osama bin Laden, estranged by choice, says that she has received more grief from arrogant European elitists for backing U.S. President Donald Trump than for being related to the 9/11 terrorist mastermind. This misbehavior includes being mocked, yelled at, and insulted.

Noor, who spells her last name slightly differently than her uncle pursuant to its original translation, appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight to explain what she’s been dealing with while interacting with an apparently left-wing cohort in Europe.

“As you can imagine, there are a few challenges that come with carrying this name, not least on a personal level, being associated to a man whose values and beliefs are so diametrically opposed to my own…I find it quite interesting that in certain elitist circles I’ve encountered, that I’ve faced so much arrogance and vulgarity for stating my beliefs, my support for the president, and it’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before,” she told the FNC host in the video clip embedded below.

Noor bin Ladin went on to say that the hostility that she has run into, while unjustified, is understandable to some degree because of the rampant bias of the European media which takes it cue from America’s liberal corporate media.

“I see why their understanding is limited because 99% of the media over here in Europe, believe it or not, it’s even worse than it is in the U.S., but they’re based on the fake news in the U.S, and the six conglomerates that own these outlets. That explains part of it.”

Noor bin Ladin added that her support for President Trump is sourced primarily from his handling of foreign policy, particularly fighting terrorism, given that his predecessor Barack Obama left office leaving the world “a much more dangerous place.”

In the exchange, Noor bin Ladin referenced articles that she has been writing in the Spectator where she has expanded upon her support for Donald Trump.

“Coming out publicly [for Trump] was a step too far for some, and the vitriol I received for stating my political beliefs revealed unflattering sides to certain characters. From a sociological standpoint, it is quite interesting that in some elitist circles being pro-Trump has caused me more grief than carrying the name bin Ladin…

“And why do I support Donald Trump? Look at his record. He has stood up to China, kept America out of new wars, solidified ties with Israel, overturned the disastrous Iran deal and obliterated ISIS. Domestically, he removed handicapping regulations to American economic growth, rebuilt a depleted military, brought back manufacturing and revamped dying industries by renegotiating trade deals and cutting taxes; he has achieved energy independence, curbed immigration — all of which contributed to setting record unemployment rates.

“He has tackled neglected issues such as human trafficking and unjust incarceration — and given America a chance at restoring her principles, pride, independence and true place in the world as a beacon of liberty and hope for all.
