America has been called the land of free speech, but the right to speak freely today is limited in many Democrat-run cities to those giving voice to the acceptable left-wing agenda.
Opposing views are often met with violence in many of these cities, especially if those speaking out should happen to be supporters of President Donald Trump, as was seen Saturday in San Francisco.
A conservative group, Team Save America, organized a free speech rally in Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s city to protest the censorship being seen by Big Tech giant Twitter in the run-up to the presidential election.
The rally was to begin at United Nations Plaza and move to Twitter’s headquarters, located a few blocks away, according to Fox News, but the plans went awry when a larger group of violent counter-protesters began attacking those attending the rally.

One of the victims described the violent mob as Antifa and while police were nearby, as is often the case these days no action was taken in response to the attack.
As captured on video, the left-wing thugs who claim to support racial justice sucker-punched a black man later identified as Philip Anderson, an organizer of the event.

There were at least a half dozen photographers and cameramen just a few feet away, eagerly recording the confrontation.
Officers did attempt to assist Anderson, who lost a tooth in the assault, but no effort was made to apprehend the assailants.

Many of the free speech rally goers wore the iconic red “Make America Great Again” Trump hats and carried “Thin Blue Line” flags in support of police.

Anderson was booed and had objects thrown at him when he did try to speak, Fox News reported.
“This is what happens when you lose free speech,” he said. “This is what happens, America. This is what our country is turning into.”

The violence wasn’t limited to that one incident, as others were also attacked — the rally was reportedly canceled before it could get underway when police declared a public safety hazard and shut it down.

A Trump supporter was seen being loaded into an ambulance and an injured San Francisco police officer was on the ground by United Nations Plaza, according to the Associated Press.

Others were forced to retreat behind police lines for protection.

The San Francisco Police Department confirmed that three officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being assaulted with pepper spray and caustic chemicals, the news agency reported. One officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
To justify the violence, the left simply tagged the free speech advocates as “Proud Boys” — you know, the so-called white supremacist group.

Anderson posted a video later from a hospital bed, asking Democratic nominee Joe Biden if he still thinks Antifa is just an idea?
“This is what the ‘idea’ you’re talking about did to me,” he said, showing his busted-up mouth.
