Rapper Ice Cube, a known Trump critic who’s been and remains unabashed in his criticism of both President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, now faces the wrath of leftists — some of them white — for parleying with the Trump administration.
Earlier this year the legendary rapper released a Contract with Black America (CWBA) outlining policies related to the betterment of the black community that he would like the candidates running for the presidency to at least consider pursuing.
“Democrats don’t seem like they got a plan [for black people], Republicans don’t seem like they got a plan for us. So how the hell you gon’ vote for them? Make ’em earn that vote. They can start today. Make they a** earn that vote. Stop playing with these people and maybe they’ll stop playing with you,” he said in a video at the time.

After unveiling the plan/contract, he then asked incumbent President Donald Trump and Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden to sign it.
Now fast-forward to Tuesday, when Trump 2020 campaign senior adviser Katrina Pierson shocked the entire country by announcing that the president’s Platinum Plan for black Americans that was released last month had been designed with Cube’s help.
Look:
Shoutout to @icecube for his willingness to step up and work with @realDonaldTrump Administration to help develop the #PlatinumPlan

Leaders gonna lead, haters gonna hate. Thank you for leading! ✊🏾

The tweet sent reverberations throughout Twitter, with leftists — many of them white — expressing shock and outrage at Cube for working with the Trump administration.
In responses posted Wednesday afternoon, the rapper addressed the criticism by pointing out that whereas Democrats had vowed to address his CWBA “after the election,” Trump’s campaign had been willing to address it NOW.
Look:
Facts: I put out the CWBA. Both parties contacted me. Dems said we’ll address the CWBA after the election. Trump campaign made some adjustments to their plan after talking to us about the CWBA.

Within seconds of the tweet being posted, hatred began to pour in at lightning-fast speed, with leftists excoriating him as a “sell out.”
Among the foul-mouthed haters were a shocking number of high-profile white figures, including author Don Winslow, whose work is frequently touted by the media.
Look at a sampling of the backlash below, and take note of all the white people lecturing Cube, demanding he bow to their ideological demands … like a slave (*Language warning):
I don’t care what fake ass sell outs like @kanyewest, @icecube and @SenatorTimScott are saying and selling…
Donald Trump is a F racist.
And a vote for Trump is a vote for racism. https://t.co/a1UAafx1uP
— Don Winslow (@donwinslow) October 15, 2020
Get a clue and stop being a sellout @icecube! @realDonaldTrump is the furthest thing from equality and civil rights you will ever meet! You are better than this!
— MurphysLaw74 (@MurphysLaw74) October 14, 2020
You got played by Trump just like you got played by Jerry and now you look like a fucking clown. I’m sorry, a MAGA clown.
— Tony Posnanski (@tonyposnanski) October 14, 2020
Hey @Icecube…do you truly believe that a bunch of rich Republican white men will do more for people of color than than Democrats? Please tell me you’re joking…
— Andy Ostroy (@AndyOstroy) October 14, 2020
Don’t believe Trump. He’s a pathological liar.
— MΞGAN KΞLLΞY HALL (@MeganKelleyHall) October 14, 2020
Facts: You’re from the fucking Valley, duuude 😂 No wonder you believed Cheeto Shitler – “the new white is orange” 😂 Hypocrite. Making shitty family films & scowling like your short ass can do something 😂 Fake ass gangster. https://t.co/PQKsiOg61r

Shame on Ice Cube and any of you who are allowing yourselves to be led by him. He isn’t bucking the system, he’s working his way into it for his own personal gain.
Donald Trump doesn’t give AF about Black people; yet, some of you are all too willing to shuck & jive for him.
— Elgin Charles (@ElginCharles) October 14, 2020
FYI, the rapper hasn’t endorsed Trump.
In response to the hate, the rapper released a follow-up tweet in which he argued that BOTH SIDES have their issues but “justice is bipartisan.”
Look:
Every side is the Darkside for us here in America. They’re all the same until something changes for us. They all lie and they all cheat but we can’t afford not to negotiate with whoever is in power or our condition in this country will never change. Our justice is bipartisan. https://t.co/xFIXXpOs8B
— Ice Cube (@icecube) October 14, 2020
This tweet also provoked hate. But for every word of hatred and intolerance from the left, there were words of love, support and wisdom from the oft-maligned right.
Look:
So ice cube is a “sellout” for partnering with the President of the United States to come up with a plan that invests $500billion in the black community?
But if it was mass black incarceration Joe Biden he worked with y’all would be happy coz TV told you to be. Sheep— Melissa Tate (@TheRightMelissa) October 14, 2020
If you’re hating on @icecube for working with the President of the United States to advance the interests of black people, maybe YOU are the one who’s not pro-black?
— CJ Pearson (@thecjpearson) October 15, 2020
Black people criticizing @icecube for actually helping black people is why we haven’t had nice things.
But, that changed under the leadership of @realDonaldTrump with a record of results in the community & continued success with FOUR MORE YEARS and the #PlatinumPlan
— Katrina Pierson (@KatrinaPierson) October 14, 2020
.@icecube is keeping it real. There’s nothing wrong with wanting more for our community than the crumbs that the system was designed to give us.
Working with @realDonaldTrump Administration to help develop the #PlatinumPlan is called leadership.
Stop being a victim to the system!— Diamond and Silk® (@DiamondandSilk) October 14, 2020
Democrats think they own the black vote. They are the party of the KKK.
— Cernovich (@Cernovich) October 14, 2020
DONT BE MAD! BE GLAD!
Ice Cube is under fire for teaming up with the Trump Administration to help the black community!
He called out Trump once but
This is bigger than President @realDonaldTrump and @icecubeThis is about helping the American People! RT if you agree pic.twitter.com/Y0EbQPbNAy
— Terrence K. Williams (@w_terrence) October 14, 2020
Let that sink in. The Democrats told @icecube to wait. Team @realDonaldTrump reached out listened & added some of Ice Cubes’ ideas into the President’s new Black Economic Empowerment agenda called the #PlatinumPlan
Talk is cheap, it’s time for action! https://t.co/6Yh5GNpZDC https://t.co/3qCM8AuvMi pic.twitter.com/2LTOi5rPrO

It seems like one side is focused on forcing others into compliance by smearing them with terms like “sell out,” while the other side is interested in empowering everybody through unity and dialogue. Which side do you support?
