President Donald Trump wowed supporters who came out to see him in Pennsylvania, delivering a strong message interjected with lighthearted moments including his entertaining dance moves.

The president was in high spirits Tuesday as he made his first stop in the battleground state since his recovery from COVID-19, making his appeal to voters during the Johnstown rally as he pressed his law-and-order message, called out his opponent Joe Biden on his environmental and energy policies and warmed the hearts of rally-goers with his trademark dance.

Just as he did at his Sanford, Florida rally the night before, Trump broke into dance to The Village People’s “YMCA,” pumping his fists in the air and clapping along to the classic song.

Just a little over a week after his coronavirus treatment and release from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the president closed out his second rally vowing that he would “make America safe again” and “make America great again” before the Village People hit began to play.

Trump continued his signature moves as the song continued to play and he exited the platform, taking time to wave at rallygoers, give them a thumbs-up and clap along to the music.

And while the haters predictably mocked the president, it was clear his fun outburst was welcome to many Americans not impressed with Biden’s robotic and deadpan appearances.

The Johnstown rally featured other key moments well before the finale as Trump spoke to the thousands gathered at the airport tarmac.

“To everyone fighting to recover from the virus, I feel your pain because I’ve felt your pain,” the president said at one point, telling the crowd about his recovery and that he now felt “like Superman.”

“I could come down and start kissing everybody. I’ll kiss every guy. Man and woman,” he said. “Look at that guy, how handsome he is. I’ll kiss him. Not with a lot enjoyment, but that’s okay.”

Trump took aim at the Democratic presidential nominee, warning Pennsylvania voters that Biden will ban hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, if he is elected. Biden and Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris have been called out for their previous flip-flopping comments about the practice.

“One of the most important issues for Pennsylvania is the survival of your fracking industry. Joe Biden has repeatedly pledged to abolish fracking,” Trump said. “He’s a liar, O.K. He’s a liar.”

Trump also pointed to the former vice president as “the single-worst candidate in the history of American politics.”

“That puts more pressure on me. Can you imagine if you lose to a guy like this?” he joked to the crowd.

Trump also made a direct appeal to one key demographic of voters, speaking to suburban women and reiterating his focus on law and order.

“Somebody said ‘I don’t know if the suburban woman likes you,’” Trump said, as cheers from women in the crowd followed. “They said they may not like the way you talk, but I’m about law and order, I’m about having you safe.”

He went on to say that “they should like me more than anyone here tonight because I ended the regulation that destroyed your neighborhood [and] brought crime to the suburbs, and you’re going to live the American dream.”

“Suburban women, will you please like me? Please. Please. I saved your damn neighborhood, okay?” Trump added. “The other thing, I don’t have that much time to be that nice. I can do it, but I gotta go quickly… They want me to be politically correct.”

The president urged rally-goers and others to get out and vote, later tweeting his strong stand for the state and the nation.

Trump plans to hold more rallies in Iowa, North Carolina and Georgia later this week as the weeks draw closer to Election Day. And as a low-energy Biden speaks to smaller groups, and is shouted down by Trump supporters, the president defies his critics as he continues to prove how much many Americans love him.
