Left-wing activists have posted a guide online detailing how to disrupt the country in the wake of a close election, with the ultimate objective of driving President Donald Trump from office if he wins by declaring the victory illegitimate.

The guide, which is being circulated by a group called ShutDownDC, was posted as a Google Doc and is titled, “Stopping the Coup: The Disruption Guide for 2020.” The doc lays out a plan to sow chaos throughout the country in response to an imagined ‘coup’ by the president.

“Preventing Donald Trump from stealing the election and remaining in office is likely to take mass, sustained disruptive movements all over the country,” the guide notes.

And while some parts of the guide are dedicated to the assurance of a “fair election,” other sections appear to provide instruction on how to stage a coup, not prevent one from occurring.

“In the context of a coup or highly contested election we need to be clear that our actions must directly affect the structures and pillars of power. Our largest asset in this regard utilizes the ideas of non-compliance through massive, broad based direct action,” it states.

“Where we can, we need to be in the streets, on the highways, or at the sites of power and power holders. In our jobs and lives we must refuse to allow those taking control the legitimacy of the power they seek through strikes, slowdowns, and boycotts, and public refusal to accept an illegitimate ruling party,” it continues.

Top Democrats including presidential nominee Joe Biden and two-time presidential contender Hillary Clinton have been gaslighting the country for months claiming that Trump is a tyrant who won’t leave office peacefully if he loses next month.

The establishment media has also gotten into the business of gaslighting the scenario.

In a September interview, Attorney General William Barr rejected any notion of President Trump refusing to concede but acknowledged that the Democrat left was making threats of refusing to accept his victory.

“You know liberals project,” Barr said. “You know the president is going to stay in office and seize power and all that s**t? I’ve never heard of that crap. I mean, I’m the attorney general. I would think I would have heard about it.”

As for the guide, other portions read like a manual for revolution.

“In order to really win we will need to force some pillars of power (business, military, media, or other major institutions) to decide to side with the people, or at least get out of the way,” it says.

“If everyday life goes on, a despot will not leave power, and so there will be no incentive for real systems change. You want to think about what it might take to stop business-as-usual,” the guide continued.

One early sign of action will be if the president tries to declare himself the victor on Election Night, despite states still having to count mail-in ballots, which will take up to a week in some instances.

Leftists will “demand that no winner be announced until every vote is counted,” adding they will launch “mass coordinated action” to achieve that objective.

“Trump may try to declare himself the victor before the votes are counted, or Fox News might call the race,” says the guide. “Those who can should be prepared to take action against those who are feeding into the stolen election narrative, including social media companies that are letting falsehoods or incitements to violence spread.”

The guide also lays out some bizarre scenarios including one in which Barr would try “to seize all mail-in ballots and invalidate them.”

If the election is contested, “we must take action,” it says, adding (original emphasis):

In the end, the actual electorate might be split, half truly believing that Trump was elected legally, and half knowing that he was not.

It is in this muddied context of legal and political wrangling that we must take action. We cannot wait to see how the chips fall. That will only ensure more power for the violent white supremacist machine that is the Trump administration and its supporters.

The guide also suggests that disruption may take place even if Biden wins.

“We want to be clear here, though: we are not a group of Biden supporters. This is not about ensuring that the Democrats win, but actually preparing for the possibility that white supremacist violence will continue,” it says in a false reference to the Trump administration.

The document may have been created by a group called the Disruption Project,” which describes itself as being “dedicated to supporting uprisings, resistance and mass direct action.”

Meanwhile, the ShutDownDC website strongly suggests Trump will be “forced from office.”

“We are not seeking a ‘return to normalcy,’ because we know that returning to ‘normal’ means returning to a system that was built on oppression. Rather, we see this as the time to rise up against the current crisis and move forward to dismantle the interlocking systems of oppression that have plagued this land for centuries,” the site says.
