According to President Donald Trump’s son Eric, “#JournalismIsDead,” and as proof, one need simply look to the allegedly unethical behavior of NBC News.

On Monday the mainstream “news” outlet held a widely panned town hall for Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden that for some inexplicable reason featured virtually no difficult, challenging questions from the event’s attendees.

A day later, the reason for the lack of tough questions emerged: Some of the allegedly “undecided” voters who’d participated were in fact avid Biden supporters.

“Lawyer Peter Gonzalez and marketing executive Ismael Llano posed questions to Biden during a town hall on Monday, when he appeared before what the network described as an ‘audience of undecided Florida voters,'” the Washington Free Beacon confirmed.

“Both Gonzalez and Llano, however, were featured in an MSNBC segment in August to explain why they support Biden. ‘If we get four more years of Trump, good luck, and good luck with the future attracting younger voters,’ Gonzalez said as an MSNBC chyron noted he was ‘voting for Biden.’ Llano was also identified as ‘voting for Biden’ and offered praise for the former vice president.”

But that’s certainly not the impression that town hall moderator Lester Holt provided to the public during Monday’s town hall.

Instead he described Llano as someone who “voted for Hillary Clinton four years ago but has voted Republican in the past.”

Another town hall attendee, Mateo Gomez, had reportedly told MSNBC only days earlier that he was leaning toward Biden.

Yet another “undecided” attendee, Michelle Cruz Marrero, has been posting virulently pro-Biden memes to her Facebook page for months:

Then there’s Cassidy Brown, an “undecided” voter who earlier this month “retweeted an account—with a Biden-Harris logo for its avatar—that attacked Trump for allegedly making derogatory remarks about veterans.”

And then after the town hall Monday, she reposted an Instagram post from her sister that read as follows: “Did anybody see my sister ask the future president a question?”

After these findings were unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon on Tuesday, Eric Trump responded by tweeting, “#JournalismIsDead.”

Of course, some would argue it’s been dead.

The president also responded but only to the town hall, not the post-town hall findings.

This latest black mark for the media comes only weeks after CNN hosted a Biden town hall where only three questions were asked by Republicans, while 13 questions were asked by Democrats.

The majority of questions wound up being such softballs that even members of the media took note.

Look:

During a Wisconsin rally that same evening, the president correctly predicted that Biden would wind up facing nothing but softball questions.

“He’s up there tonight getting softball questions from Anderson Cooper. They don’t ask me questions like that,” he said.

One of the questions asked by town hall moderator Anderson Cooper was this: “Mr. Vice President, President Trump has said that he downplayed the coronavirus because he didn’t want to cause panic. If you were president, could you see a scenario where you downplayed critical information so as not to cause panic?”

The president also poked fun at CNN for holding the town hall in a “drive-in” format.

“They’ve got, like, cars, and it’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. And CNN is going, ‘Oh this is so beautiful.’ It’s not beautiful, they’ve got cars in a parking lot,” he said.

They did indeed:
