In case America didn’t get the message during the Obamas eight years in the White House, former first lady Michelle Obama is above reproach.

The mainstream media fawned over Mrs. Obama and went out of their way to ensure the country only saw her… ahem, best side. And when President Donald Trump dared to retweet a post mocking her, the reaction was swift.

It all began with an over-the-top video Mrs. Obama released trying to spur her low information followers to vote. She called Trump a “racist” for talking about the rampant rioting that swept the country after the death of George Floyd. At best, the former first lady misled the country when she claimed that “only a tiny fraction of demonstrations have had any violence at all.” At worst, Obama blatantly lied. Either that, or her own eyes lied to her.

Outspoken conservative actor James Woods had tweeted a video capturing her false analogy, playing against a backdrop of some of the rioting that occurred — the video was dubbed “world on fire” because of the burning buildings behind Obama.

As might be expected, considering it is sacrilege to mock Mrs. Obama, our Big Tech overseers were quick to begin the cleansing process — Twitter show the account that posted the video has been suspended.

The fact that Michelle Obama has engaged in the 2020 presidential election may be the greatest tell that Trump is doing better with black voters than the media’s willing to report.

A drop off in the black vote in 2016 was seen as big factor in Hillary Clinton losing to Trump.

The president has been very active on Twitter the past two days, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rolled out the Democrats” latest strategy to undermine the president.

In a conference call Tuesday with House Democrats, the California lawmaker used the fact that Trump has coronavirus to question whether the virus or side effects from his treatment have impaired his decision-making abilities.

Because his treatment included steroids, “roid-rage” became the immediate selling point.

In an appearance Wednesday on The View, the speaker dissed the White House.

“I don’t want to go anywhere near the White House. It’s one of the most dangerous places in the country,” Pelosi said.

Aside from the obvious, such as tweeting that the #FakeNews media is the “real” opposition party, the president challenged Pelosi to get back to work.

Amid the stalled out coronavirus relief talks, Trump said that Congress sends him a stand alone bill for $1,200 stimulus checks for the American people, he would sign it “right away.”

As might be expected, speaker Pelosi has ignored the challenge as of this writing.

As for Michelle Obama, Trump also retweeted this tweet:

A social media user was only too happy to introduce Obama to “what a real racist looks like.”
