CNN’s Chris Cuomo was raked over the coals for his meltdown over video of President Donald Trump’s return to the White House which he slammed as “propaganda.”

The CNN host was denounced and mocked for his enraged reaction to Trump’s return to the White House from Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on Monday evening. As cameras caught the president removing his mask upon entering the White House, Cuomo exploded over the positive message as just “bullsh–” about the coronavirus pandemic.

The mainstream media’s disgusting display of animosity toward the president of the United States was on full display Monday as, rather than celebrate his departure from Walter Reed where he has been in treatment for COVID-19 since he was diagnosed last week, they found every reason to excoriate him for daring to get better.

Cuomo was not alone at his network with the hyperventilating reactions. The host of “Reliable Sources,” Brian Stelter, suggested there was a “coverup” underway in the administration and claimed that Trump leaving Walter Reed “is what strongmen do in autocratic regimes.” Meanwhile, reporter Jim Acosta referred to the president as “Coronavirus in Chief.”

And Cuomo did nothing to hide his apparent unhappiness at the president’s recovery, treating viewers to an apoplectic commentary on video of his return. As many Americans celebrated their president showing he is a fighter and recovering from what many of his critics hoped would kill him, Cuomo unloaded a shocking attack filled with insults and misinformation.

“There he is reshooting the scene for his own ad,” Cuomo said as video played of Trump having removed his mask and standing on the balcony after walking up the steps of the South Portico.

“I hold rallies and I tell you to ignore masks and I rip mine off as I vanquish the virus, for I am a leader. Fear not, Covid!” Cuomo mocked. “What a bunch of bullsh–!”

“If you want to know the reality, the truth, okay, the virus is the truth,” he added.

“The virus doesn’t care about left and right. The virus does what’s reasonable. You give me a chance I will spread. You keep away from me, you don’t give me a chance. I run out of hosts. I die. I’m the truth. If you are doing the right thing, you don’t see me that much. If you are doing the wrong thing, you do. The White House is literally what we fear the most, a rash of contagion called a cluster,” Cuomo continued.

“You want a metaphor, you have a president who is a drunk driver who is pushing others to drive drunk,” he said, slamming the president for his “victory lap” on Sunday when he briefly emerged from the hospital to drive by and wave at supporters gathered outside.

“Now they have to quarantine,” Cuomo said referring to the Secret Service who, as many pointed out, are with the president at all times anyway – regardless of the motorcade on Sunday.

“He doesn’t give a damn. And now, I do not have to feign any extra measure of compassion. He returned to a cluster and took his mask off. That is, covidiocy, he is a cov-idiot. You are disrespecting the president? No. He disrespected the presidency. All that is left is the residue of outrage. That’s the only emotion I have.”

Cuomo’s meltdown continued as he claimed the president “didn’t beat the virus” and “is not stronger than I am.”

“He got every advantage. He has use of all the things he denies the rest of us,” he claimed. “The virus is the truth. And this president is a walking lie. Or as my brilliant writer said, lie ability. Lie-ability.”

“Why is he saluting? A salute is a gesture of respect,” Cuomo demanded, back to complaining about the president’s appearance on the White House balcony.

“Literally every aspect of his pandemic experience and response exhibits disrespect. I am not upset because I’m surprised. I am not upset because I’m judging. I’m upset because so many of you contact me sick. And desperate. And scared. And I can do nothing, and this man who can do everything does nothing,” he continued to rant.

The CNN host’s disrespectful rant was immediately slammed as many social media users reminded him that he was guilty of a rather “staged” video of himself back in April. Cuomo, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 back in March and quarantined in the basement of his grand Hamptons home in New York, shared a video of himself reemerging and reuniting with his family.

Despite his dramatic departure from the basement, it turned out that Cuomo had broken quarantine earlier and had been outside his home, as Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson, noted.

“Chris Cuomo was diagnosed with COVID-19, broke quarantine, didn’t wear a mask, put others in danger, got into a fight with a cyclist who called him out, then pretended nothing ever happened and threw a party when his ‘quarantine’ was over,” communications strategist Caleb Hull tweeted.

Many others on Twitter also slammed the CNN host for his hypocrisy.
