The communications director for the Democrat Party of Washington County, Oregon, was arrested after allegedly pulling a knife on female Trump supporters at an outdoor event hosted by the Oregon Women for Trump.
Clayton John Callahan was arrested on October 4. “He pulled a very sharp knife and threatened the Republican women,” PJ Media contributor Victoria Taft recounted on Facebook (see post below).
Taft wrote: “The Washington County, Oregon Democrat Party Communications Director, Clayton John Callahan, was arrested SUNDAY [Oct. 4] when he decided to do a little ‘communicating’ with the Oregon Women for Trump group.”
She continued: “He pulled a very sharp knife and threatened the Republican women and a guy he was trying to block. No idea what led to the confrontation except that he appears to be a crazed person who is easily triggered. This appears to be a hate crime. See the arrest record below. Wow. Just wow.’

Taft also tweeted about the harrowing incident: “Pulling a knife on people because you hate their political beliefs is a hate crime. When the knife-wielder is the Comms Director for the Democratic Party of Washington County, Clayton John Callahan, it should be a cause for firing, prosecution and prison.”

Clayton Callahan’s arrest record was posted on the website of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on October 4, but has since mysteriously disappeared online.
However, a cached version of the arrest record still exists. It says Callahan was charged with “unlawful use of a weapon.”

As of this writing — two days after the arrest of the Democrat operative — not a single mainstream media outlet has reported the news.
Meanwhile, Patriot Prayer founder Joey Gibson shared a disturbing video of the allegedly knife-wielding Clayton Callahan angrily confronting him in a menacing and threatening manner.
Gibson is a half-Japanese libertarian who has been maligned by the left as a “far-right white supremacist.”

The incident ignited backlash on Twitter, with many sounding the alarm on escalating left-wing violence and the deafening media silence over it.
