For Democrats, when it comes to President Donald Trump filling the Supreme Court vacancy brought about by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, it’s all over but the crying.

That’s according to Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who said Republicans have the votes to confirm the president’s nominee, who is expected to be named this week, perhaps as early as Wednesday.

In an appearance Monday night on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Graham cited the baseless accusations Democratic senators leveled against Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation process in making the announcement.

“They will destroy anybody’s life to keep these seats open,” the lawmaker said. “They tried to destroy Brett Kavanaugh so they can fill the seat. They were dumb enough to say that.”

“I’ve seen this movie before. It’s not going to work. It didn’t work with Kavanaugh,” Graham continued. “We’ve got the votes to confirm Justice Ginsburg’s replacement before the election. We’re going to move forward in the committee. We are going to report the nomination out of the committee to the floor of the United States Senate so we can vote before the election. That’s the constitutional process.”

The Republican senator again referenced the shameless attack on Kavanaugh.

“After Kavanaugh, everything changed with me. They’re not going to intimidate me, [Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell, anybody else,” he said, before making an appeal to viewers to help fund his reelection.

“We’re going to have a process that you’ll be proud of,” Graham added. “The nominee will be supported by every Republican in the Judiciary Committee and we have the votes to confirm the judge — the justice on the floor of the Senate before the election. That’s what’s coming.”

It’s fair to say that the Kavanaugh confirmation was a game-changer for many on the right — the video below captures a furious Graham blasting Democrats at the time, as he called their actions “the most unethical sham since I’ve been in politics.”

Host Sean Hannity said that while Democrats accuse Trump of breaking precedent, they want to stack the court, end the filibuster, and are talking about impeaching the president and Attorney General Bill Barr.

Graham responded to say that if Democrats keep the House in November and add the Senate and White House, “this country will change fundamentally.”

“The electoral college will be obliterated. We will go to popular vote,” he said, among other things.

Appealing to voters, Graham again made a fundraising pitch.

“If you want to help me and other Republicans, get in the game,” he said. “They are killing us financially. I am in South Carolina, not exactly liberal state my opponent is going to raise $80 million. I need conservatives to help me. You need to help us all.”

As for the Democrats’ despicable, last-minute ambush of Kavanaugh, even the liberal media is astute enough to understand that was a game-changer — though radicalized may be more accurately described as being willing to play on the same level as the left.

Here’s a quick sampling of online responses to conservatives being “radicalized”:
