They’re here, they’re gay and their political inclinations couldn’t be anymore clear.
A poll conducted by the gay male dating app Hornet found that a remarkable 45 percent of its American users plan to vote for President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2020 election.
While this is still less than the 51 percent majority that intends to vote for Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, it’s still a remarkable number given all the smears that the president faces from far-left LGBT organizations.
Reporting on Hornet’s findings, for instance, Pink News accused the president of “launching an array of anti-queer policies and, overall, not caring about queer people.”
Clearly, members of the gay community disagree:
According to Hornet, the president’s support among the gay community is mostly limited to the United States.
“Among queer men in non-USA North America, 72% support Joe Biden and 26% support Donald Trump. Among queer men in South America, 76% support Joe Biden and 22% support Donald Trump. Among queer men in Europe, 65% support Joe Biden and 33% support Donald Trump,” the app reported Monday.
“Among queer men in Asia, 61% support Joe Biden and 36% support Donald Trump. Among queer men in Africa, 62% support Joe Biden and 33% support Donald Trump. And among queer men in Australia/Oceania, 74% support Joe Biden and 22% support Donald Trump.”
Still, even Trump’s support here was enough to provoke anger, condescension and elitism from far-left members of the LGBT community, with Pink News leading the charge.

Queer men to forgo their morals this November with a thumping 45 per cent vowing to back Donald Trump https://t.co/KdOlo0Bfp4

There will always be those that vote against their best interest

This attitude reeks of the same pretentious arrogance that led Biden to “joke” over the summer that blacks who don’t vote for him in November “ain’t black.”
Undergirding this attitude is the illiberal belief that you must vote a certain way based on your immutable characteristics, be it your race, gender, sexuality, etc.
It’s a backward idea that ought to not even exist in 2020, yet it still prevails because of far-left Democrats who’ve embraced the tenets of intersectional identity politics.
Ironically, it’s one of the reasons why so many Americans, including gays apparently, have abandoned the Democrat Party and turned to the likes of Trump.
For proof, just look to the replies on Twitter:
I’m gay & voting for President Trump.
Democrats don’t own me.

I wonder if telling right-leaning, or even just non-leftist, gay men that a) they’re suddenly ‘queer’ now and b) that their voting preferences and instincts are immoral has something to do with them telling the left to go swivel?
— Alan Grant (@alangrantuk) September 16, 2020
I love how the Left think they “own the gays”. 😆
The Left doesn’t own jack sh*t. The “gay community” is not some hive mind gestalt entity. They are all individuals, and will think individually.

That’s incredibly homophobic. To suggest that they are going against their morals just because they don’t agree with you.
NEWSFLASH not everyone in the LGBT community is a monolith or the same

Wow, it’s almost like gay men have their own individual opinions, values and beliefs rather than just being cookie cutter stereotypes…

Or maybe they look at facts and not the propaganda/lies that you push on a daily basis.
— Sara (@Sara_James2) September 16, 2020
The facts indeed, as the latter Twitter user noted.
Over the course of his first term in office, Trump has appointed numerous gay men to high-level positions and promoted the decriminalization of homosexuality abroad.
Hilariously enough, when the president launched his global campaign last year to decriminalize homosexuality abroad, far-left members of the LGBT community pounced yet again, provoking Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. into responding.
Look:
Insanity! As I have said repeatedly, if @realdonaldtrump came out in favor of Oxygen the left would be against it. Here, Out Magazine is against Trump’s Plan to Decriminalize Homosexuality globally saying it “Is an Old Racist Tactic” Are You Kidding Me? https://t.co/mKTks1yY9Y

One of the most famous gay men of the Trump administration, former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, noted during a discussion with political commentator Dave Rubin earlier this year that the LGBT movement of today is nothing like the genuinely tolerant, inclusive LGBT movement of the past.
“The mantra was tolerance and diversity. We recognized that other people were not going to agree with us, and our whole request — our ask — was just embrace diversity. We know you don’t agree with everything that we stand for, but let’s just be tolerant of each other. Remember, hate is not a family value,” he said
“Now, the entire leadership of the LGBT movement in Washington, D.C., is all about cancel culture and absolutely pushing people out of the argument to say, ‘I don’t even want to be friends with you if you voted for Trump or you’re a gay conservative. I can’t even fathom being friends with you.’”
Listen to his full remarks below:
He made these remarks in February. Seven months later, these same radicals simply can’t fathom why any gay man would vote for Trump.
If they only knew just how many gay Republican men do in fact exist …
