Turns out, “Hidin’ Joe Biden” is not only dodging any real scrutiny by the media, the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee is also dodging regular folks.

…even as the 77-year-old candidate works hard to give the opposite impression.

Biden, who’s mental capacity remains a legitimate concern for many voters, is mocked for hiding in his basement until the election day, limiting press access and avoiding taking any real questions and his campaign saw an opportunity to counter that by trying to manipulate Instagram.

In an Instagram story Tuesday, Biden told followers, “I’m answering your questions. Ask me anything,” according to the New York Post.

Below that was a submission box where social media users could ask questions.

The problem is, over 24 hours later, the former vice president had yet to answer any questions, the newspaper reported.

That matters because Instagram stories “expire” after 24 hours, as the article noted, and disappear. Also, Q&A posts are typically done in realtime.

The more the candidate is ridiculed for stunts like this, the more he appears to think he’s above such scrutiny.

And it’s not like Biden can say he didn’t have time, as he — see someone on his team assigned to manage social media — posted pictures, videos and other graphics to his profile since telling his followers he would be answering questions, according to the Post.

One of those posts was plugging his interview with controversial rapper Cardi B, where the former vice president attempts to appeal to the hip young crowd by taking questions from a woman who once acknowledged that she used to drug men under the pretext of robbing them.

A woman who posts videos online boasting in graphic details about her oral sex skills.

“Joey B,” as Biden told Cardi B his daughter used to call him, posted on Instagram that he and the vulgar rapper have a lot in “common.”

President Trump’s crack team was quick to note that Biden never answered a single question.

Abigail Marone, a member of the Trump campaign’s rapid response team, took to Twitter to mock Biden.

“Lol Joe Biden’s staff posted ‘I’m answering your questions. Ask me anything!’ on his Instagram story 14 hours ago and they have yet to post any questions or answers,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, the president’s eldest son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr., called the Biden campaign a “farce.”

The harsh assessment coming as he responded to a video showing Biden apparently using a teleprompter to respond to virtual questions.

A question about using a teleprompter was posed to the Biden campaign Thursday by Fox News’ Bret Baier and the response speaks for itself:

Speaking of responses, here’s a sampling of reactions to the story from Twitter:
