Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris is so terrified the Trump administration will have a COVID-19 vaccine ready before the November election that she’s already stoking hysteria that it would be unsafe.

Let this sink in: Kamala is more concerned that the vaccine could help Trump politically than that it could save lives.

Harris’ preemptive fear-mongering undermines the reassurances of left-wing hero Dr. Anthony Fauci—a Hillary Clinton superfan—who said a vaccine will be ready before the end of 2020.

Moreover, Fauci said that whenever the vaccine is approved, it will be safe because it will have undergone rigorous blind-testing by independent scientists.

Anonymous sources gossiped to CNN and the New York Times—without evidence—that President Trump is pressuring scientists to produce a vaccine before November 3 because it would help his chances for reelection.

However, Kamala Harris says she wouldn’t trust such a vaccine because she doesn’t trust Trump.

“They [scientists] will be muzzled, they’ll be suppressed, they will be sidelined, because he’s looking at an election coming up in less than 60 days, and he’s grasping for whatever he can get to pretend that he’s been a leader on this issue when he’s not,” Harris told CNN.

She added: “I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about.”

President Trump said he believes a coronavirus vaccine will be ready before the end of 2020—potentially by the end of October.  Trump cited promising data from ongoing research studies for his optimistic projection.

“It will be delivered before the end of the year, but it really might even be delivered before the end of October,” Trump said last week. “Wouldn’t that be nice? It’d be nice because we want to save people.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious-disease physician, said data from Phase Three clinical trials suggests a vaccine will soon be available.

“The data is so good right now that you can say it’s safe and effective.” Fauci told Kaiser Health News last week.

Dr. Fauci also shot down leftist tabloid gossip that President Trump is pressuring scientists to approve a vaccine before it’s ready.

Fauci underscored that the National Institute of Health’s Data and Safety Monitoring Board will not approve a vaccine unless it meets rigorous scientific standards. “I’m not concerned about political pressure,” Fauci said.

Dr. Fauci reiterated to CNN that the Data and Safety Monitoring Board is independent, so if they declare a vaccine safe for public distribution, it will be safe.

“When the data comes in on the vaccine results, they come into the Data and Safety Monitoring Board, an independent group of people who evaluate the data and the safety of it,” Fauci said. “I have faith in the system that the FDA will do what they promise. They promise they make decisions on a regulatory basis purely on the basis evidence.”

Similarly, Dr. Jerome Adams—the U.S. Surgeon General—said he’s so confident that once the vaccine is approved, he’ll have his whole family get it.

“What people need to understand is we have what are called Data Safety Monitoring Boards that blind-test the data, and it won’t be possible to move forward unless this independent board thinks there is good evidence that these vaccines are efficacious,” Dr. Adams said. “They have already been through Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials, so we feel reasonably good about the safety so far.”

Dr. Adams added: “The most telling thing I can say to people is that when there is a COVID vaccine available, I and my family will be in line to get it. I think it will be safe. It will be effective, and I think it will help us with this outbreak.”

As it is, many Trump supporters are also distrustful of a vaccine, thanks to the stream of apocalyptic fake news about the epidemic.

Joe Biden has made the coronavirus the centerpiece of his attacks on President Trump while ignoring the countless Black Lives Matter riots, which have alienated millions of Americans from Democrats, which supports the left-wing violence.

In August, Kamala Harris praised Black Lives Matter and Antifa thugs who are assaulting civilians and cops, burning down churches and federal buildings, and terrifying Americans with their savagery, saying they’re the “heroes of our time.”
